Chapter Twenty-Six: Cindy buckled under the cold reality– she was going to have to submit to Nick to save her job. Do whatever he asked of her, no matter how distasteful. “Oh dear.” She looked up with fearful eyes. “Yes sir?” “You can start by unbuttoning your blouse.” Cindy sagged, was on the verge of collapsing. Her eyes darted about the room, looking anywhere but at Nick. She thought about walking out. But the realization she’d be disgraced, out of work, and her resume blemished with the worst kind of rebuke, froze her feet to the carpet. And there would be the long trip back to Boston.
