The drive home was quiet as I didn’t really feel like talking about anything. All this was surprising to me and the fact that I was being this nice to someone was rubbing me off in a wrong way.
I mean why couldn’t I say no to Jade? I wasn’t even planning on taking her to see her father today but once she asked I left all I was supposed to do and took her to see her father.
I even went out of my way to arrange for her best friend to pay her a surprise visit while she was visiting her day because I knew it would make her happy and for some really strange reasons, I seemed to care if she was happy or not.
And when her father made mention of something like finding a way to pay me back the money to get her away from me, it made me really upset even when I wasn’t supposed to get upse
