I could barely contain my excitement as the thought of getting my phone back made me run wild with joy and also the thought of seeing my dad again had my heart racing. I sighed as I felt a sense of relief wash over me.
I missed my Dad so much and I still couldn’t believe that I hadn't seen him in weeks. Thankfully I could see him now as the weight of uncertainty had been slowly suffocating me.
And as much as I resented Xavier a bit for keeping me locked away in this cage-like masion, I couldn’t deny that at this moment, I was truly grateful to him. I was very happy and grateful that he was willing to let me see my father at least and the fact that I was going to get my phone back felt like a dream come true. I have never imagined that I was going to ever miss my phone this much.
