✨AT BECCA'S HOUSE ✨

"Wow! seems like someone has improved in her cooking skills" Nana said smiling

"Well, that someone learnt from the best 😊" Becca replied smiling

"Listen my dear, I want you to behave yourself in that school. The entrance exam is gonna be tough but I know you'll make it. The vice principal had told me that if you score more than 90 percent in your entrance exam, we don't need to worry about the school fees anymore, isn't that great news?.."

"Yes it is Nana. But 90 percent is really high yunno. Such a top notch school would give a top notch exam..."

"I know dear. But you don't need to worry, I believe in you. Everything is possible with determination and faith. But as I said earlier, you need to be careful there. Remember your background my dear, don't associate yourself with people who would make you forget why you're there. Of course, there'll be high class girls who would be distracted with fashion, partying, having boyfriends, being updated on social media and other irrelevant things, you should avoid those classes of girls and focus on your school work. Rebecca, there are some things people do that you should ignore okay? Don't retaliate to every thing people do. Have self control and maintain a good reputation there. I don't want to be called for something you did there, Am I understood?.."

"Yes Nana...."

"Good girl... So when you're done, get everything set for school tomorrow. It's gonna be your first day and you don't wanna forget anything. And remember to carry your flashlight too okay?.."

"Okay Nana, yunno I'm really missing......" Rebecca discusses stuff about her hometown with her grandmother throughout their dinner..

✨ MEANWHILE AT THE BROOKS MANSION ✨

"Young master, dinner has been served.." the young maid informs him while trying to get his attention by pushing out her bōobs out of her dress, but failed again...

He simply nods and continues sorting some files.

(AT THE DINING ROOM)

"Did you tell him that dinner is served?.."

"Yes ma'am. I told him.."

"And what did he say?.."

"He didn't say anything ma'am, he just nodded and I left.."

"It's been over five minutes you called him and he still hasn't come down... It's Okay, just go back to the kitchen, I'll call him.."

"Okay ma'am.." the maid replies and leaves the dining room..

"Mom, just let him be. Maybe he isn't hungry. You can't force a man to eat, if he wants to eat, he'll eat.."

"Ooh shut it Skyler... My Jayden is still my baby boy. He isn't a man yet. And he'll eat when his momma tells him to.."

Skyler feels a little bit worried that his brother might report him to his mother regarding his careless handling of his car. He knows his mother would nag about that for ages to come. He mutters a silent prayer that Jayden doesn't come downstairs for dinner but his mom won't let that prayer be answered....

"Jayden!!!! Jay!!! Jay!!!.."

"Yes Mom.." Jay immediately rushes out of his room and stands by the staircase after hearing his mother's constant yelling of his name...

"Yunno, I thought something happened to you from the way you were yelling.." he replies sounding annoyed...

"Of course something happened to me. My baby hasn't eaten, how would I be fine when you haven't eaten..."

"I'm not a baby mom... Your careless baby is sitting next to you feeling all comfortable. And I was doing something important, you didn't have to yell that way..." Jayden replies while pushing his disheveled hair backwards.

He could hear the indistinct giggles of the two young maids who were peeping through the kitchen door. It wasn't something new as he was an undeniable attractive sight. They would always ogle over him and that highly disgusted him. He had caught one of them peeping while he was changing his clothes and she was never heard of again as he got rid of her!!...

"Careless?? What did you do again this time Skyler?.." Sophia Brooks asked her son who dug his head into his plate...

"Don't worry mom, it has been taken care of..." Jayden said then glared hardly at the jobless maids who became frightened to their bones and ran away immediately...

"Are you sure?" She asked narrowing her eyes at Skyler who badly wanted the floor to open up and swallow him..

"Yeah.. So now that I'm here, you're okay right?.."

"Yes I am 😊.."

"And where's your husband? Ooh lemme guess, at the casino 😒.." Jayden says sarcastically..

"Stop sounding disrespectful, he's your father.."

"Well he's not my father!!.." Sky said finally finding his voice..

"Yeah and not mine too. And now we'll leave that topic and eat.." Jayden said

Sophia's face twisted instantly. She didn't like as her children hated their father and felt guilty for not doing all she could to stop her husband's gambling hobby. She also wished her husband treated her more like his wife rather than a stranger.

He would gamble and gamble away himself and sometimes not come back home for days. He had a great textile company which produce millions in at least a day. The quality of his textiles made it a great demand in the States and abroad. He also had a lot of fortunes his father left behind for him and his wife was a popular movie director so he never bothered about spending lots of money in his gambling hobby...

"Mom!! Mom stop thinking about him and eat!..." Jayden scoffed and snapped Sophia off her thoughts.

"Hmm, it's okay. I'm not hungry. You two can eat, I'll be in my room..."

"What do you mean by you're not hungry? Weren't you the same one yelling Jayden's name and forcing him to come down and eat?...." Sky asked..

"Yeah but..."

"But nothing.. open up...open up.." Jayden says while pushing a spoon of food into his mom's mouth..

"Jay..jay... okay.. okay..my mouth is opened..."

Jayden feeds his mom throughout their dinner and his dad didn't return home that day..

✨ NEXT MORNING ✨

"Nana!!!!!!!!!!! I can't find my shoes!!!!..."

"Your shoes are near the hanger dear. And I've prepared your lunch for you, here you go..."

"Thank you Nana, Ya the best.. Byeeee love you..."

"Bye dear and be safe..."

Rebecca dashes out of the house as she's already almost late for her entrance exam.

She spent hours on a video call with Samantha and Chris and ended up losing track of time.

She takes a taxi to her school and pays extra for the driver's careful yet quick driving..

She marveled at the sight of the school...

"Oh my goodness!! This school is damñ huge!!" She exclaimed as she stared at the building from the bottom to the top.

It was a three storey building painted white and blue which matched the students' uniform as she could see. She was caught up in admiring the school that she left the pedestrian walkway and stood in front of the main gate.

She kept on staring while walking into the gate and then she heard the screeching sounds of tires right behind her and she turned back to see something and she strongly recognized...
