Nina’s POV
The red lights in the X room made everything look bloody. My knees still stung where the skin had split open. The leather straps bit into my wrists and ankles. I could feel the small cuts from earlier burning every time I breathed too deep. The beautiful woman sat on the bed like she owned the air itself. Her red dress caught the light and made her skin glow. She crossed her legs slow, one heel dangling. The other woman in black stood frozen in the corner, eyes on the floor.
I swallowed hard. My voice came out shaky but I forced the words anyway.
