I wake up feeling just as confused as when I went to sleep. I can’t believe the heated things I dreamed of Alpha Cade and I doing together last night. What is wrong with me?!

I decide to get up and call Lucy for a girls day. She didn’t make it to school Friday, which is weird so I’m hoping she can hang out this weekend, I definitely need a friend to talk to.

I pick up my phone and decide to just call her,

“Hey Luce, whatcha doing today?” I ask.

“Kateeeee! Hey, nothing. I’m going to come over okay?”

“Okay haha! See you soon bye!”

Well that worked out! I get up and take a quick shower before she shows up. I hop out, get dressed right as the door bell rings and I hear footsteps coming up the stairs. My door slams open and I’m tackled to the ground, “Hey, Luce” I say with a laugh.

“Hey b***h! Sorry I missed school yesterday, my mom was sick and needed some help at home”

I go sit at the bed and practically yell at her everything that happened yesterday and find her with her mouth wide open by the time I finish.

“Do you think Alpha Cade could be your mate?” She asks. Faith starts jumping around in my mind howling, again what the heck is up with her. She can’t actually think that’s a possibility can she? There is no way that a nobody like me is mated to an alpha like him. And that’s exactly what I proceed to tell Lucy too.

“No Luce. There is no way an alpha like him can be mated to a nobody like me.”

“Kate, you are not a nobody. Give yourself some credit will ya? You are perfect and my best freakin friend!”

“Thanks Luce, I love you too but still let’s just drop the conversation okay? What do you wanna do today?”

“Let’s just hang out and watch movies today? Up for it?”

And that’s what we did, watch movies all damn day, bridesmaids, step brothers, mean girls etc. By the time she went home I was exhausted and ready to go to bed so it’s exactly what I did. I was going to relax the rest of the weekend.
