‎You freeze. Ms. Kang stands at the end of the aisle, arms crossed, eyes narrowed dangerously. Both you and the boy turn at once. ‎ ‎“Explain,” she says sharply. “What are you two doing here in the library?” ‎ ‎You blink, your throat suddenly dry. ‎Your mouth opens to speak, but no words come out. ‎ ‎Ms. Kang raises an eyebrow, her voice growing firmer. ‎“I think… classes have already started. Did you two bunk?” Her tone sharpens. Just as you try to explain, the boy’s voice cuts through calm, confident, and smooth. ‎ ‎“ i was just completing a project, ma’am,” he says coolly. “The library was the only quiet place left.” ‎ ‎Ms. Kang’s stern gaze softens just slightly, impressed by his composure. " good. your forgiven go to your class Jimin. ! "Ms Kang turns her gaze to you with one eye brow slightly raised. "And your punised." ‎ ‎Your eyes widen in disbelief. "Wait what?! ‎“No! That’s not ‎ ‎“Enough.” Ms. Kang interrupts, but before she can continue, the boy smirks faintly, that cold expression never leaving his face. As he starts leaving. ‎ ‎You scoff loudly, arms crossing. ‎“Really?!! Ms. Kang, are you seriously believing him?! Look....!” You point furiously. “I don’t even have a book! He’s the one holding it!” ‎ ‎Jimin stops and looks down at the book in his hand, jaw tightening as he slowly turns to face them. ‎ ‎“You dare to” he starts, but you cut him off with a smirk. ‎ ‎“Yes, I dare! Don’t lie! Just because you’re a senior doesn’t make you the big one here, okay?! You deserve the punishment, not me! I didn’t do anything!” ‎ ‎You glance back at Ms. Kang, frustration spilling from your tone. ‎“I was just here to drink water!” ‎ ‎Jimin scoffs, voice low and mocking. ‎“Drinking water… in a library?” ‎ ‎You gulp, caught off guard. ‎“N-No, I mean... I passed by the library but he called me for help!” You point at him quickly, your heart racing. ‎ ‎He looks at you in disbelief, those cold eyes narrowing, burning into you so intensely that you flinch slightly. ‎ ‎“So… so I’m innocent!” you blurt, forcing a nervous smile. ‎ ‎Jimin’s voice drops, cold and sharp. ‎“Oh yeah? You were the one who looked like you needed help...jumping like that to reach a book.” ‎ ‎You glare back. Ms. Kang’s eyes dart between the two of you, her patience snapping. ‎ ‎“Enough!” she yells, her voice echoing through the quiet library. ‎“You both clearly have no manners! Both of you....punished!” ‎ ‎You gape, pointing at him again. “But....Ms. Kang.....!” ‎ ‎“Not another word!” she cuts in, walking away with her clipboard. ‎ ‎You sigh loudly, glaring at him as he stands there...silent, unreadable, and annoyingly calm. ‎ ‎.............................................................................. ‎ ‎[ At sport room ] ‎ ‎The sound of mops dragging against the wooden floor fills the empty sports room. ‎You sigh, shoulders slumping, glancing at him from the corner of your eye. He’s cleaning like the floor owes him money every movement sharp, fast, rough. ‎The mop slams hard, water splashing slightly. You flinch, watching him for a second. Why does he look like he’s trying to kill the floor? Clearing your throat, you force a confident tone. ‎“You… uh… you don’t know how to clean the floor, huh?” ‎ ‎He pauses. Sweat slides down the side of his neck Making him look hot, jaw flexing as he slowly lifts his gaze from the floor to you...cold, dark eyes meeting yours. You blink, taking a half-step back, but you keep your attitude. ‎“What? It’s true! You’re cleaning like it’s a battlefield.” ‎ ‎He straightens up, tossing the mop aside for a second. ‎“Maybe I wouldn’t have to clean at all if someone didn’t drag me into this mess.” ‎ ‎You gasp a little, offended. “Excuse me?! I dragged you? You were the one who lied!” ‎ ‎His tone rises slightly, irritation dripping from every word. “Because of you, I had to skip my important classes!” ‎ ‎You blink, then cross your arms, mimicking his deep voice with an exaggerated pout. ‎“Awwwwwweeee....‘because of you I had to skip my classes,’” you say in a mocking tone, making a silly face. ‎ ‎He stares at you blankly....unimpressed. ‎You frown, voice sharp. “Did I tell you to skip, huh?! No! You opened your big mouth and lied to Ms. Kang!” ‎ ‎He lets out a short laugh, humorless. “At least I was smart enough to say something. You were just standing there like a statue.” ‎ ‎You glare. “Oh, sorry for freezing when I’m accused of something I didn’t even do! Not everyone’s born a professional liar!” ‎ ‎His eyes narrow. “Careful.” ‎ ‎You scoff, taking the mop from the bucket and splashing it near his shoes. “Oh, I’m so scared, senior.” ‎ ‎He looks down at the water, then at you calm again, voice low but icy. ‎“Keep doing that, and you’ll regret it.” ‎ ‎You lift your chin with fake confidence. “What are you gonna do? Mop me to death?” ‎ ‎He stops mid-motion. his jaw tightening. ‎Then, that cold smirk curves on his lips. ‎“Oh, I can do a lot of things.” ‎ ‎Your smile falters. “Yah… what is this supposed to mean?” ‎ ‎He takes a step closer... slow, deliberate. His eyes never leave yours. ‎ ‎You blink, heartbeat racing. “H-hey! Why are you walking like that? Stop... stop coming closer!” ‎ ‎Another step. ‎ ‎You take one back. “Yah! I said stop! Are you deaf or what?” ‎ ‎He scoffs quietly, tilting his head. “What happened to that confidence you had a second ago?” ‎ ‎You glare, still stepping back. “It’s still here! I just don’t wanna breathe the same air as you, that’s all!” Your heel suddenly hits an instrument lying on the floor... you lose balance, stumbling back. Before you can fall, his arm snakes around your waist in one swift motion.
