Chapter Three:
As the day was done, Tina arrived at their house with Blake's companion, She even didn't remember her best friend Emmy. Blake stays for a while at Tina's house, and talks to Tina's family. They even get bullied if Tina and Blake are already in a relationship.
"Mama, we're not in a relationship, we're just friends," Tina shyly told her mom.
But her mom keeps bullying her. Tina's family just laugh even Blakes too.
"Is it ok Tita,Tito if I court Tina? Blake says like his joking and laughing.
"Of course, but it's up to Tina," Tina's Dad replied to Blake and laughed.
Tina gets shy, and her family and Blake laugh along with her.
As they are all done having a happy time, Blake says goodbye to Tina's family and to Tina too. Then Blake went out and went home.
As Tina was in her room to get ready to rest, she remembered her best friend, she just missed Emmy for the whole day she didn't see her. So Tina decided to visit her best friend at her home. And she'll need to talk to her, about all the crazy things that happened to her that day.
Tina walked towards Emmy's house, She knocked on the door, and Emmy's mom opened the door.
"Hi Tita, good evening, Is Emmy here? Tina greets Emmy's mom.
"Oh yeah she's in her room, making some work papers", Emmy's mom replied. "You can come in and go to her room," Emmy's mom continued.
So Tina went inside and went directly to Emmy's room. She knocks on the door.
"Bestie, it's Tina, Can I come in? Then Tina opened the door.
As she entered the door and closed it, she saw Emmy at the table doing some paperwork.
"Oh Hi Tina," Emmy approached Tina.
"Wow you've been so busy, I even didn't see you the whole day," Tina says to Emmy.
"I've been busy, sorry. Emmy's not in the mood to answer.
"Are you okay? seems you are tired, did I disturb you? Tina asked Emmy.
"I'm fine, I'm okay," Emmy smiled to Tina.
"What do you want? Emmy continued.
"Take a break from your homework for a while, Let's get some chit-chats," Tina holds Emmy and they sit down on the floor.
They started to talk, Tina talked about all the crazy things that happened to her the whole day at the school, and then she told Emmy that her family bullied her to Blake.
Emmy just listens to all of Tina's stories. Pretending she's fine, she laughs even inside her heart she hurts.
Then Tina asked Emmy's suggestions about whether Blake would court her, and does it was okay if she accepted it or not.
"What do you think Best? Tina asked Emmy's suggestions.
Emmy wants to cry as she hears about it. But instead of crying, she just answered.
"It's up to you Best, If you think she's good for you then go," Emmy answered.
"Would you support me best? Tina questioned Emmy.
"Yes, of course, as long as I see you happy, Emmy answered.
"Thank you bestie," Tina hugged Emmy and smiled.
So, after all the chit-chat, Tina left Emmy's house and went home. As Tina left, Emmy cried so badly, that she felt so much pain. She doesn't know what to do about that she just heard from her Best friend. She blames herself for being too cowardly. She cried and cried until she fell asleep.
At the next morning, when Emmy woke up, as she went to the bathroom to take a bath, she saw her face in the mirror. She saw her eyes
go puffy eyes. Because she cried a lot last night. She just getting ready herself, and her mind to be positive. As she's done, everything from preparing herself to eating her breakfast, she went out to their house and walked towards the street to get a ride going to their campus. She didn't go to Tina's house.
As Emmy arrived at the campus, she saw Simon waving her in the distance.
"Emmy, Good morning, " Simon greetings to Emmy with a lovely smile.
"Hi Simon, nice morning huh," Emmy replied.
"What's your subject now? Simon asked Emmy.
Emmy told Simon her subject, and Simon offered Emmy to accompany her to her classroom. Emmy didn't refuse Simon's offer.
So they walk towards Emmy's classroom while they're near, Simon asks Emmy if it's okay that they are having lunch together.
"Sure, just text me where we meet OK," Emmy gave her phone number to Simon.
Simon walks with a happy smile on his way to his class.
Emmy thinks it is a good idea to have a love experiment to test her feelings, and if they will change if she gets into a relationship with a man. She thinks if ever that Simon ever courts her, she will try to have a relationship with him, she's hoping she can change and forget about her feelings for her best friend.
So as the time came for lunch, Simon texted Emmy to meet him at the commerce building, Simon's course was a Pilot.
So Emmy went there and saw Simon.
Simon waved at Emmy so Emmy could see him.
"Hey Emmy, I'm here. Simon waving.
Emmy walks towards Simon.
"So, were we gonna have our lunch? Emmy asks Simon.
"Let's eat at Cale Washington, " Simon's replied.
"OK then, let's go. Emmy and Simon walk towards the eating place.
As they get their orders, Simon and Emmy have some chit-chat about their past school days, they laugh they're having so much fun.
Then, their order arrived they started to eat while talking, and chit-chat more.
They all remembered their memories of high school.
Then Simon told Emmy about their puppy's love memories in high school and opened up to Emmy that since they were in high school, he had a crush on her.
"Hahaha, kidding joker Simon," Emmy laughed so badly making a teary-eyed.
"It's true, just I can't tell you before, because I'm too shy", Simon shyly told Emmy about his feeling.
"Oh, are you serious? Emmy is confused and questions Simon.
Simon said "Yes it's true.
"Wow, so what now? What are you planning? Emmy questioned Simon. Are you planning to court me? She continued.
"If It's Okay with you," Simon said.
Emmy told Simon to give her some time to think, Then Simon just said "Yes don't worry, take as much time as you need, I'm not in a hurry, Let me pay for the food we eat."He continued.
Emmy tries to insist, but Simon says, You can't insist I'm the man, I must pay for it.
But Emmy didn't want that style, so she said, Let's just pay half and half hahaha", I don't like that because you are the man, you will be the one to pay, that's not good."Emmy said it to Simon and laughed.
Simon is happy and agrees. Then, they leave the food house and back to their classes.
Inside Emmy's mind is that she will just accept Simon, and try if it works out.
