The light reappeared, the sarcophagus was opening, a voice apparently coming from within his brain said “Follow instructions and directions on the screen, if instructions happen to be missing and connection to be lost, start localisation protocol and wait for maintenance squads. Proceed!” The cyborg Fred got out of his box, instructions appeared in the visor, the way to be followed got lit before his feet, or rather his tracks. He diligently executed without diverting a centimetre. He had hit land on what seemed to be a crude mining installation. From what he could see through the eyes of his own cyborg version, he wasn’t surprised that what surrounded him had nothing to do with what he had been promised.
