Everything was fine one second and chaos the next. James and Zara had shifted and started fighting some of the newborns and Cassie was throwing some rogue across the street. And from nowhere a newborn was all over me and had me pinned to the ground. He had no idea who he was getting at. Newborn may be strong and unpredictable but I was closing in on my 550th birthday.
