The guys were all gathered in the living room studying the house plans. Mark had waited until after supper to bring out his plans. The ladies were in the dining room. While Doris and Willow cleaned the table, Daisy sat at the table and held Camille. Glenda sat close to her, watching. Glenda rubbed her stomach. She looked at Camille with longing.
Daisy glanced at her. “It won’t be long. You will be able to hold your son,” she said.
“I am looking forward to it,” agreed Glenda. “I’m a little scared. I have never had much to do with babies.”
“We all had to learn by doing,” said Willow. “You have all of us for back up.”
Glenda smiled. “I am so lucky. Leon has an amazing family.”
Daisy looked over and grinned. “You are a very welcome addition to Leon’s family.”
“Thank you,” said Glenda.
