“Yes,” agreed Doris. “She is a real sweetheart.”
“We need to get on home and see if there is any word from Jamie and Silas,” said Glen.
They said goodbye to Marcel and Stanley and headed for home.
Daisy was busy gathering things to help in furnishing the two houses for Moon Walking’s cousins.
“Moon Walking has some ladies cleaning the houses. Some of the men are cutting the grass and straightening the yards. Other ladies are hanging curtains. Everyone on the reservation is donating furniture and supplies. A lot of them are dropping things off at the Sports Complex and the teenagers are carrying it over to the houses. Everyone is rushing to make sure these families have what they need to survive until they get settled and find work,” said Daisy.
