“Is there anything in particular you are looking for today?” asked the man.
Silas stopped suddenly and then walked forward to the display of rings in a glass case. He was looking at one ring in particular. It was a square cut emerald surrounded by small diamonds in an antique setting.
Silas pointed at the ring. “Could I see this ring?” he asked.
The man unlocked the case and brought out the ring Silas indicated.
Silas looked at it and knew he had to get this ring for May. “How much is it?” asked Silas.
The man grinned. “You are in luck. It is half price today. Moon Walking and I had an agreement. If you came by today and asked for this ring, it was to be half price. It also has wedding rings to match.”
Silas and Jamie looked at him in amazement.
