47 Desert Foes
Blake had watched a full moon move over part of the sky before he decided to wake Natan. They secretly allowed Leo to sleep for the whole night, agreeing that it was best not to fully trust him yet. He had agreed to follow Sadie, after all. And even though he had turned on his former employer and was now allied with them, both Blake and Natan were still wary of his complete loyalty. Natan held to watch the rest of the night. Leo and Blake woke to early daylight around the same time as the other. Blake was thankful that he was being greeted by a day that had come after an uneventful night. The casual look on Natan’s face confirmed that there was nothing to worry about from the previous night. Leo and Blake joined Natan at the fire for a quick cup of tea, and then the three of them packed
