~~Raya’s PoV~~ Not only the candles and the table and the walls around me disappear, but the floor vanishes too, and my body drops before my mind or my stomach can catch up. Yvette lets out an ear-piercing shriek beside me as we both fall. In our surprise and panic, the drop feels endless, but is probably only a matter of seconds before we hit the ground, landing on fresh grass and dirt. With my faster reflexes, I am better braced than Yvette, who hits the ground hard, landing on her shoulder which cracks beneath her weight. “Oh, damnation!” she cries out in pain. “That wasn’t supposed to happen!” What did just happen? “Where are we? What did you do?” It is twilight, just as it was before, but now the sky is open above us and the full moon gives off a gentle glow. The castle around us
