My husband and I have always been adventure-minded people. In fact, that’s really the reason we first decided to start dating. I still remember our first encounter, and the twinkle which showed in his eyes when I said my real passion was to explore. Now, when I say “explore”, I don’t mean the forays reserved for the bourgeoisie, but the good, honest, off-the-beaten-track kind. That’s why when we began to plan our honeymoon together, we considered long and hard which mysterious country we’d like to visit most. We ended up settling on Japan, given the airy mists which seem to hang about that land in one’s imagination, and we were not disappointed in our choice. You will soon see why.
