Craig and Mandy got into the living room and almost immediately, they spotted Maria sitting on one of the sofas in the living room. Standing behind her was Mr Maurice. They were both discussing something when the couple walked in, Maria turned and let out a smile when she saw the pair.
"Good evening mom" Craig greeted.
"Good evening my dear" Maria responded with a smile.
"Good evening ma'am" Mandy greeted. Maria stared at Mandy a bit before she responded.
"How are you?" She asked.
"I'm fine ma'am" Mandy responded. Maria stared at the couple for about a minute in silence.
"Is it true? You two are expecting a child?" Maria asked. Craig took Mandy's hand and squeezed it softly.
