"Well Sam come with me then. We can go south to Black Water where it all began and hopefully find out who our parents are and why they left us to these assholes for so long." "We have to have a plan Bre. We can't just up and leave with nothing on our backs." "Ok we make a plan. We gather stuff we need and in one week we go. It's our birthday in one week so that gives us enough time to get everything we need. Let's make a list of stuff we will need. Sam write this down will ya."

Ok Bre I will go with you but first you have to promise me you will be safe. I promise cross my heart and hope to die stick a needle in my eye Bre says as they both start giggling while getting ready for school.

After school we should go to Rick's sporting goods store and see if they have any tents marked down Sam says as they walk to first period. Sounds like a plan to me Bre said as she shoves her books in her backpack. I pulls out my phone as we enter Mrs. Barlow's English class. I show my phone to Sam and we both start laughing at the picture of Lana sleeping off her hangover from her drunken night before at the freshman bonfire. Lana is our go to girl for booze but we don't actually hang out. I have every class with Sam and Lana so Lana's text was our signal to take notes for her while she sleeps off her hangover.

It felt like time had just stopped during school, I know it's because I can't wait to get out of this town and find out who I really am. I'm getting restless playing the waiting game but Sam does have a point we do need a plan to follow or this will be for nothing and the state will just throw us in juvie until we are 18. After school Sam and I walk to Rick's sporting goods store and look for all the stuff we would need. I ended up spending $200 out of my savings but it will be worth it if we can pull this off. We got a tent for half price because someone returned it and it was missing the stakes. We can use sticks for stakes so no worries there. We also got out sleeping bags,lantern, cooking set, survival pack. We decided to hide it all in our fort in the woods. Now all we needed was a car and a bit more money. Sam had $400 in her savings and I had $500 so we had enough to live off of but not enough for a car too. Black Water was about 2 hours away and without wheels under us we wouldn't make it very far.
