《Avery's POV》
Even though my eyes were still closed, I could tell it was already morning because of the soft chirping of birds right outside my window.
I yawned sleepily and stretched my body a little only for my hands to collide on something warm and hard. Wait... my eyes snapped open immediately ans I came face to face with a smiling Marcus.
"Good morning my love." His deep voice hummed in my ear, sending a jolt within me.
What's he doing here?? And on my bed with me?? That's when I realized, we've been stayung together in my penthouse since two nights ago. How could I have forgotten so easily??
My shock died down immediately. Why am I acting like this is a new thing? I'm already used to him waking up beside me even during our orphanage days.
