Savannah didn't utter a single word during my explanation. She only had one expression on her face all through; pure shock!!
"So, that's what happened." A said, rounding up the narration.
"Oh my God.. this is so much to take in." She said, her dumbstruck expression still not leaving her face.
"You know... rejecting me wasn't the issue. I'd have understood him if he had a better reason for it." Jenny who had been silent all through finally said.
"What did he say to you?" Savannah asked worriedly.
The tears in her eyes returned as her eyes became redder than usual;
"He told me he wasn't ready for any form of commitment." She answered.
