"I'm sorry.. do I know you??"
Dumbstruck faces, dropped jaws and wide eyes were all I could see after I asked that question to Benjamin.
The annoying fake smile on his face disappeared immediately and a grim look took its position there. Good!! Before he could say anything else, I walked away with Marcus by my side.
"I never knew you were this cold." I heard Marcus' voice after we've put a distance between us and Benjamin.
I turned to face him immediately; "Did I take it too far?" I asked nervously. I didn't want to seem heartless in front of Marcus even though Benjamin deserved it and more.
He smiled sweetly and stared down at me to match my eye level;
"No baby. He deserves worse than this after everything he has put you through." He whispered.
