With the sound of dripping water, Alyssa awoke to discover she was in a cave. She stood to her feet and gone were the trees and grass of the realm she had shifted to, and now she was cold and damp with barely any illumination to see what was in front of her. She began to move through the shadowy passages, lit by yellow glowing mushrooms. The walls of the cave were covered in black slime and were moist to the touch, and she could hear the flapping of wings and scratching of insects crawling.
Curiously, she began to wonder how she had gotten inside the caves, but considering all that she had experienced thus far, she supposed this wasn't the most far-fetched thing that had occurred to her.
