For what seemed like hours, Alyssa was laying on her back staring up at the ceiling of the dungeon cell that she and Derek were sharing, while he was pacing around growing in agitation with each passing moment. “Is there a reason why I seem more concerned about our wellbeing than you?" Derek asked as he paused for a moment looking down at Alyssa, who glanced at him and shrugged her shoulders before returning her gaze to the ceiling. “Wonderful; well, I suppose I might as well join you then, since there is no hope for escape."
