Chapter 10: Couple in the Series Part 4

I was quite surprised because this was the first time Senior Sion had asked me out after work. Although we'd gone out together several times, it was always at the agency's request, so we could have a moment that fans would love. Even then, there were always staff members accompanying us. So, hearing Senior Sion ask me to go out without the agency telling him to, I was surprised, but it's possible that the agency told Senior Sion to go, right?

"Did the boss tell us to go out together?" I asked, somehow feeling like the agency had told Senior Sion to ask me to go.

"No, I want us to go alone. Without the agency knowing, without the staff knowing, without the fans knowing, without the other actors knowing. Just the two of us, in our private time," Senior Sion said, realizing his hand was still gripping my arm.

I felt the bathroom suddenly become very hot, and my face felt hot. I smiled and said, "Hmm... Okay. Where are you taking me to?"

"I don't know, but we'll see," Senior Sion said with that charming smile of his.

Senior Sion and I said our goodbyes and walked together to the parking lot. Not only us, but several other actors also walked together to the parking lot. We were all starting to get closer, but I still felt like our closeness was only temporary because of work, so I didn't want to get too close to them to the point of intruding on my personal space. I remained my usual mischievous, active, and cheerful self, so it didn't even seem like I was thinking about anything else or that I was 100% focused on work.

Senior Sion walked ahead of me and said quietly, "I'll go ahead. I'll send you the location."

I simply nodded and went back to chatting with one of the actors, who had a cute, baby-faced face, even though he was my age. His innocent face, dimples, and innocent smile made everyone like him, including me. Being the same age made it easier for us to get along. Besides Senior Sion and Ethan, Bian was the one I talked to most often.

Bian played one of Ron's close friends, so we also did workshops together to get closer to our characters. Bian's role was also the second couple in the series, so we often went to events and interviews together.

After parting ways with Bian, I got into my car and unlocked my phone, which had been ringing several times. I looked around and realized that Senior Sion's car was no longer in the parking lot. I saw a message from Senior Sion.

Senior Sion: I'm going now. I want to find a comfortable place to talk.

Senior Sion: Do you want to have dinner too?

I looked out my car window and smiled because it was still too light for dinner, but Senior Sion was already thinking about dinner. Since we started the workshop, I've realized that Senior Sion is someone who does love to eat. He doesn't eat much, but he always wants to try the various dishes in front of him. When he talks about food, he always seems to swallow his saliva as if he's imagining the food. Senior Sion always looks cool and polite, but he's also funny and sweet if you look closely.

I read another chat from Senior Sion.

Senior Sion: Paola Caffe, 9 Hill Rise, Richmond upon Thames, TW10 6UQ, London, Inggris.

Senior Sion: I'm going to that cafe, it's near Thames River.

Senior Sion: The view is beautiful and the desserts are delicious too.

I smiled when I read Senior Sion's chat and replied with an "okay" sticker. Then I started the car and headed to the location where Senior Sion and I were supposed to meet. I didn't expect Senior Sion to also love the view at Wat Arun, and the cafe he chose was also one I like to visit when I go to Thames River.

After driving for more than half an hour, I finally arrived at Paola Caffe. I parked my car right next to Senior Sion's car. I put on my mask and got out. I took out my phone to text Senior Sion, but he called me first. Senior Sion rolled down his window and called out, "Rayan."

Senior Sion's car windows were tinted, so when I glanced at his car, I didn't realize he was inside. I was a little surprised to hear him call me. I turned to look inside Senior Sion's car and smiled, "Senior Sion? I was just about to text you."

"Get in!" Senior Sion said, opening the door for me from inside.

I was confused because I thought Senior Sion was going to talk to me in the cafe, but instead, he told me to get into his car. I followed him and got into Senior Sion's car. After I got in, Senior Sion immediately started the engine. I became even more confused, and finally, I asked, "Senior Sion, where are we going?"

Senior Sion glanced at me for a moment before returning to driving. "I'll take you to my favorite spot. The view of Thames River is amazing from there. Hmm, I've also bought some food and drinks for us."

Huh? I couldn't believe Senior Sion's behavior, but he was so sweet. I glanced back and saw the drinks and food from Paola Caffe. I smiled slightly because the food seemed like it was enough for two people. I glanced at Senior Sion, who was driving, and jokingly asked, "Hey, where are you taking me? Isn't this like we're on a secret date?"

I meant it as a joke, but I was surprised when Senior Sion didn't answer me at all. Instead, he said in a cold voice, "We're here."

I don't know if it was just me or if it was true, but Senior Sion seemed cold. Maybe I offended him? Or maybe he didn't like what I said. It seemed I was wrong again in my assessment of someone's character, including Senior Sion's. I became silent and didn't want to say anything else. I felt like I just wanted to go home.
