Chapter 7: Couple In The Series Part 1

I looked at the face of the person in front of me in shock. I knew that, indeed, in the script, there was a scene about kissing, but I never thought that he would actually kiss me. Even the kiss he gave was not just pressing our lips together, he was actually using his tongue. I was shocked and awkward, I didn't know what to act like, everything I learned from the script seemed to just disappear and I could only stay silent and let it go.

After a while, Senior Sion finally let go of the kiss and looked at me, who was already panting hard to breathe. His eyes looked at me deeply and it was as if the desire in him appeared in his eyes that were not wide. My heart was beating fast and irregularly seeing the gaze of the person in front of me. I tried to calm myself down but his face, which didn't move away from me, made it even more difficult to breathe. I don't know if the one in front of me right now is Ed or Senior Sion himself. I gently pushed his body away, trying to act as normal as possible, and called out to Senior Sion so we could stand up, “Senior?!”.

Senior Sion immediately turned to the director, then he immediately sat away from me, and then we both stood up. I don't know why, but I felt a little uncomfortable with Senior Sion who, after kissing me as if he woke up from Ed's character and returned to Senior Sion, that's when Senior Sion probably realized that the person in front of him was no longer Ron. Haah, then Senior Sion's kiss just now was 100% an act. I sighed, I was between relieved and sad actually.

I glanced at Senior Sion who was walking to the edge and spoke to the director, so I ended up following him. The director and producer seemed to really like our act just now and praised it. The novelist also came over and seemed very pleased with our acting. I just smiled because, to be honest, I still got goosebumps from Senior Sion's kiss and my heart hadn't returned to normal either. I don't know about Senior Sion, but he looks normal, maybe a kiss like that was normal for him and Senior Sion might just think of it as an act. I know in the entertainment industry this kind of thing is common, so I shouldn't overdo it. I took another deep breath and calmed myself down.

After the casting day, Senior Sion and I hadn't seen each other yet, nor had we exchanged phone numbers, so we hadn't contacted each other. I myself am busy managing contracts with agencies for this series and also arranging my schedule. Finally, after almost two weeks, the actors will gather at the agency office to start script reading, workshops, and, of course, icebreaking with other actors. I went to the agency office in my own car because I was no longer in any management, so I also didn't have a private staff for me and there was only my former manager who helped me take care of a number of things.

Going to the agency office for a new project and meeting new actors didn't make me feel excited at all, because I saw that I was just going to work as usual, like when I was in my previous series projects. I will leave on time and come back when everything is done, no need to do special things or get closer to other actors outside of working hours because I know and believe that other actors are also thinking the same thing as me. Besides, I also don't want to be hurt anymore if I put my heart too deep to be close to other actors or too attached to my work project, but it turns out that I'm the only one who does that.

I parked my car in the agency's parking lot and left feeling normal but someone called me from behind, "Rayan!".

I turned my head and saw that the person who called out to me was none other than Senior Sion with his bright smile that looked so bright that it made me, who felt that today was like any other day, immediately feel that today was a day full of happiness. I immediately returned his smile as cheerfully as I could, “Senior Sion, you just came too?”.

Senior Sion approached me and we finally walked into the agency office together, "Yes, today we will get to know other actors first, right?".

I agreed to Senior Sion's question and answered positively, "Yes, I hope we can all get close to each other".

"Hm, I was worried before, but now that you are here I feel better," said Senior Sion, which made me turn to him.

His bright smile made today seem like it would go very well and smoothly. Senior Sion really brought a positive aura to me and made me feel comfortable in his presence.

When we entered the agency office, there were already many staff in the agency office who immediately ordered the two of us to enter the meeting room. We both entered the meeting room and saw several other actors already sitting in the meeting room. The staff told us to sit down first while waiting for the producer to arrive.

“Hello”, Senior Sion and I greeted the other actors who seemed to already know each other, and spoke to the actor next to them.

“Hello”, they greeted us politely and smiled.

Senior Sion and I sat next to each other, the actor beside me greeted me and introduced himself, “Hello, my name is Ethan Drake. What's your name?".

I turned and smiled back at his greeting, "Hello, my name is Rayan Matthew".

“Oh, you're going to play Ron, right? I will act as Ein, the one next to you will play Ed, right?”, he said, speaking in a gentle tone. It seemed that he was a very kind and sincere person. That's what I saw from the person who greeted me first. He looks like an adult too.

"Yes, then that means will Mr. Drake be Ed's brother? You guys are quite similar”, I replied, nudging Senior Sion's hand, who had been silent so he would join our conversation.

"Hey, don't call me Mr. Drake just calls me Ethan. I was born in 1992. How about Rayan?", this person in front of me really shows a figure that deserves to be an older brother, mature, and makes other people comfortable too.

"Ah then, I'll call Bro Ethan because I was born in 1994," I answered with a smile.

“Hello”, Senior Sion, who finally turned his head and greeted Ethan.

"Hello, I'm Ethan Drake", said Ethan, who introduced himself to Senior Sion.

"I'm Sion Eldridge. I heard earlier that if you were born in 1992 it means we are the same age," Senior Sion said with a bright smile.

"Oh, Sion. You will be my little brother in the series. Nice to meet you, my little brother,” said Ethan with a chuckle.

"Hehe", I just chuckled just hearing it.
