"Is everything okay?"
I was pulled back to reality when I heard Gabriel voice.
I immediately showed him the message. Anger was evident on his face but he masked it when we saw Jane approaching us.
"Why do you look pale?" Jane asked me.
"Nothing. It's just that I don't like this wine at all" I lied. I didn't wanna worry Jane at all.
"When will you start acting like an adult babe" with that being said Jane turned towards the bar to order our drinks.
I gave Gabriel the look of 'Don't tell her anything' with my pleading eyes.
"Why is Chris invited?" Jane interrupted. Both Gabi and I looked at the direction Jane was pointing, to see Chris walking in the hall with someone I don't know.
Without further say Jane left with her drink and Gabi followed her.
