Eleanor opened her eyes, her head felt so heavy and her body shivered. She looked around the unfamiliar room, the strong cinnamon smell really helped her to relax.
"Camellius. I see you have regained your senses."
The grand wizard helped her to sit comfortably.
"Ahh you must be confused. This my chancery, I took you here after you lost you senses back there with Jasper. You slept for a whole day"
As Eleanor couldn't say any words, the grand wizard gave her a mazer of water. She drank it and warm began to fill her body. The water felt so weird but the warmness was so pleasant.
"What happened to me?"
Eleanor still didn't recalled the event tried to stand up. The Grand Wizard chuckled seeing how a small Eleanor tried to stand up her by herself but her feet didn't reach the floor.
"Your affinity controlled you again."
"I am so useless didn't I? When will I be able to live a normal life"
Eleanor stared the floor, feeling devastated. She gave the mazer back without lifting her face.
"You know Camellius, you are special and there is a reason for every thing that occurred. I happened to read about dark affinity yesterday and I found something good."
"Do you mind share it with me....uh um what you read?"
She lifted her face, looking straight at grand wizard. This old man has always being so nice to her.
"There were extremely rare for people to be born with dark affinity. People often mistook it as a curse when it's not even a curse. People who controlled dark affinity can summon myth beast such as pegasus can use it to control the monsters."
"Can I do that?"
"With training, I believe you can my child."
The magicians here has always assisted her with her training. Despite being only sixteen, she has mastered the basic magics as she received proper training for a student and is working on her dark affinity. They cared for her and never pry for her privacy. They accepted her as a male and treated her as a female to protect her.
"I saw you did some teleportation magic. It's a great progress. I'll be expecting more from you."
Those words really lifted her spirit again and with joy, she promised herself to train harder.
Eleanor who felt better walked to her room after thanking the grand wizard for his hospitality. Before that she has to see Jasper first, the poor guy must be worried about her.
"JASPER!!! WHERE ARE YOU!! MISTERRRR JASPER"
Eleanor shouted in front of the fountain after giving up on finding Jasper. Some magicians who heard her, laughed as it is an open secret that the two of them were very close. Their drama has always lighted the tower.
"What?"
Jasper appeared in front of her by teleportation. He looked worried but still maintained his cold gaze towards her.
"There you are young wizard hahaha. I'm hungry, feed me some good foods"
Eleanor decided to tease Jasper a bit before giving him her forgiveness. She clearly remember his face that is full of guilt when she lost her control.
"I don't remember of having a daughter who's........ six years younger than me?"
Jasper smirked and Eleanor was boiled with frustration on her senseless friend.
"You ruthless wizard better feed me. You hurt me yesterday and in need of my forgiveness."
"I don't plan on appologizing."
"You know what, once I mastered my dark affinity. I'll curse you into a toad."
Giving up with this senseless trunk, she walked away.
Jasper smiled and followed her from back.
