Chen a well built muscular man. Who is in his prime. Twenty four years of age. His hair was glossy black and his eyes were that uncanny blue which was almost violet and he possessed the virtuality and virile looks of his grandfather, such an arresting man.
Chen knew nothing or little about his father or grandfather but was told by his mother that he looks like his grandfather.
His father died on the day he was born. He went to work, only for his coworker to come back with his corpse. They said he had a little misunderstanding with one of the client. They were arguing on the stairs, when one of his leg slip and he fell down to the floor.
Few weeks after his death, the governments seized up his properties which makes his blind wife move out of the mansion. That was when their suffering started.
Being the wife of one of the most successful billionaire and blind too,she did nothing. Her husband took old care of her and also promised to send her out of the country for the operations of her eyes. But the promise was never kept because of his untimely death.
Daisy,Chen blind mother accepted it has her fate and try to move on for catering for her only son and child.
She was not employed at many place of work because of her blindness. At last she was recruited at Harte enterprises as a cleaner. With the salary she was able to send Chen to school. She rented a house at the outskirts of the town too.
She resigned from Harte enterprises when her son was in high school and started a petty trade. Ever since then Chen had made a promise to help his mother to be able to see again. But after he left school,even with the best result, he was unemployed.
He started working as a part timer in one of the most popular restaurant in the city.
" May I asked you why you are looking for me?"Chen asked jolting back to life.
"Can we talk over there," Juana asked pointing her hand towards her car.
He looked at his mother and whispered "I will be back,soon."
"So,wh are out asking of me?" Chen asked Juana the moment they were beside her car.
"I want to sign a contract with you,if you are interested."
"I am not interested," he reply turning his back.
"Why don't you asked what the contract is all about before reaching a conclusion," Juana asked
"Why should I? I will never do anything that am going to regret," he reply.
"You did not know what the contract is all about, so I think there is nothing to regret," Juana said.
"I might not have money but I have my pride," hr said and made to leave.
"Are you going to turn me down even if I said am going to sponsored your mother medical bill," Juana shouted after him.
Chen halted in his track. "What if is till refuse"
"Am going to pay you two hundred dollars as salary and that doesn't you can't work as a part time.
" So what is the contract all about?"Chen asked tracing back his track to where Juana is standing.
"Take this," Juana said pointing her business card to him." That my business card. When you are sure about this,give me a call. I hope u make the right choice."She said as she entered her car. Chen stood on the spot as he watch Juana car drove away.
He looked at the card on his hand and wondered if what the woman is saying is the truth. He went back to his house and met his mother. He assured her nothing is wrong and told her he will be going to work.
Hr could not focused on anything except the beautiful lady he had encounter.
"Could she be lying," he thought. "Of course not,not with the dark limousine, 2022 model which is use by billionaire.
He picked up his phone and dialed the number on the card.
" Hello,"he said.
"Hello," a woman reply him from the other side of the phone.
"Please is this J & A Enterprises," he asked.
"Yes please, how can I help you," the wan reply back.
"My name is. Chen Qin,I would like to talk to your CEO."
"Hold on for a minute," the woman said.
"This is Juana,Can I know who am talking to," Juana asked.
"I guess this is J&A Enterprises CEO," Chen said.
"Oh,Chen right. Am Juana by name.
" Oh,-uh-ok,"he reply realizing he did not know her name.
"Am Juana," She said.
"Okay, Juana," he reply.
"Have out make up your mind".
" Not yet,until I know what the contract is all about."
"I will send my address to you. Let meet tonight," She said.
"Okay, I will be expecting it," he said putting the phone down.
He wondered if what he his doing is the right things or not. But the fact is he has already started it.
At six pm he left his work place and headed home. He change his cloth. He told his mother that he will be late. He set out around seven post meridiem.
