Defeating A Beast

°In each of your Fathomless Space, everything needed for an emergency has been packed in it. Your scanner is a Wristwatch, it is activated by tapping twice on the screen to start the scanning process. Tapping once means you want to save your progress, tapping thrice means an emergency. Which will notify your supervisor in an instant when their watches begin to blink an orange color. °

°Food and any other essentials are in there, all you have to do is think about it and it appears. You can also imagine your crystal in any form and it would form that shape so it won’t be misplaced.°

Immediately the students started to form their crystal into different shapes, like rings, necklaces, bags, wristwatches, earrings, wristbands, and tattoos.

Bill changed him to earrings and Cox changed his to a Dragon Head Tattoo on his back. It was a unique and beautiful process, that made the students so happy that their work and load would be reduced.

°I’m sure keeping a dead body here won’t be a problem as long as the person is dead it should help°

The student comment stopped everyone in their tracks and gape at him in disbelief. It was until he bumped into the student in front of him did he notice he said that out loud.

°I was just mumbling to myself, I didn’t mean it. °

°But do you know what your comment had done to some students!? °

° I’m sorry sir, I didn’t mean it I don’t know why I blurted it °

Although he didn’t mean it the bad thoughts that were occurring in their minds were a different story.

Finally, all the groups had gone in different directions parting ways, Cox and Bill were placed in different groups, the teacher didn’t want a whole group to have to watch over the two students.

Cox’s group were on a swampy mountain, this felt like the perfect place to find different types of beasts. The beasts found were the Alligators, snipers, vipers, and so on but they weren’t the usual ones they knew, they were huge and scary looking. The vipers were worse, they were huge and long wrapping around the trees surrounding the area.

Fortunately, they weren’t being hostile towards them this gave the students time to act fast and not seek their attention. Scanning them and getting all information, they were finally done although they would have stayed longer due to the type of beasts they were, no one wanted to anger them and get their heads chopped off.

Speedily leaving the area, they decided to wait for their remaining classmates by the bus. They were all still shaking from their encounter with the beast even though they just looked at it and scanned it still felt like if anyone had done something wrong, they would have been dead by now.

Bill was enjoying this whole expenditure after all they were on a Rocky Mountain and most of the beasts present were like rocks and if not careful you wouldn’t know it was a beast.

Finally noticing some type of rock, he knew it was a beast due to how it looked, it has rocky scales but the color wasn’t brown or grey it was red and he had never seen a red rock before. Moving closer he tapped his scanner twice scanning the beast the information it brought was what amazed him.

Name: Blind bold

Information: The beast was a blind beast weak in nature but has a hard shell that makes it impossible to penetrate and sensitive hearing. The shell protects the weak part of the beast's body. When killed, the beast produces Crystals and these crystals can be used in creating strong shields.

After saving the information into the scanner, he was about to turn around and leave in search of more beasts when he was pushed towards the beast, shifting his body to avoid waking the sleeping beast, he fell chest-first landing beside it.

His head landed beside the beast's head and he could feel its breath hitting his face but still didn’t move. Crawling forward to avoid the beasts from inhaling his scent he turned his head to look behind him to know who had pushed him.

Seeing the three famous bullies, he knew he was done for. The three thought they would finally be able to get rid of him and probably they won’t have to do the work, they could just say he was eaten by a beast.

Bill didn’t know what to do but as he wanted to get up and run far away from the beast, the beast opened its eyes although he was the only one aware that the beast was blind he still felt scared.

Holding his breath and hoping the beast won’t turn to him and kill him. But his attackers knew nothing of the beast so when they saw the beast moving they laughed thinking it was as they planned.

Ignoring the boy lying beside it and turning to where the noise came from the beast pounced getting to the boys within minutes rolling like a Boulder falling he pushed them making them fall. About to roll on top of them and noticing the beast plan they rolled away.

Shifting out of reflex, they didn’t care anymore about their plans they just wanted the beast dead. Attacking with everything they had but no impact was made on the beast. It still stood strong not feeling anything.

Bill already seeing the beast's actions and how it has been covering his weak parts. All Bill was thinking about was not to die and even though his bullies would still attack him after this he didn’t care as long as nobody died and he could make a difference than these three, he would do all he can to help.

Bringing out his newly bought dagger, he stood up, and with a battle cry, he ran towards the beast. Both running towards each other he could now see the opening and the soft spot of the beast. He adjusted his dagger switching his hands when he noticed what the beast was about to do both colliding Bill stabbed it in the neck before sliding down and dragging the knife along opening up the beast.

Crystal’s raining on him, the more crystals dropping he was immediately hiding them in his Fathomless space. Knowing the three boys would be selfish and take everything from him even knowing it was his kill.

Bill wasn’t a fighter he was just a coy human but the moment he touched the blade, he felt his body moving on without his control and he knew that the dagger was what helped him in winning this fight.

Staying on his knees he took in a deep breath, he never expected this to happen to check his surroundings he could see the damage he did to the beast, he had split it into two halves by each side of him.

The boys were angry about what had occurred, A human defeating a beast that even they a werewolf couldn’t with their anger came to a new determination to destroy the human.

Growls were what Bill heard next before he saw a shadow wrapping around his own.
