AVA thought she would be able to talk to her dad after she cried. But that's the opposite of what happened. Because when she felt better she released her hug from him and, without a doubt, she fell asleep on the couch.
She just woke up when she felt someone caressing her forehead.
She slowly looked at who owned that hand and immediately got up when she saw Trevor’s mom.
"Mom! Sorry, I fell asleep here." she immediately asked for a dispensation.
"Nah, it's okay. Hmm, are you okay now? Your eyes are puffy."
"I'm okay, mom." She bowed and answered.
"You're not a good liar. Take a seat and tell us what's really happened. By the way, where's Trevor? I think it's better if he's—”
