I see things

Herald sat on a medium sized chair while he stared at a huge book placed on the table before him. He sighed as he remembered his visit to his sister's... What ran through his mind was much... Why does his sister hate him that much? His attention drifted as he heard the door to his room open and one of his men walked into the room with a jar and a goblet in hand. "I smell Wine... My favorite.." Herald mouthed while he slowly caressed his white beards with a grin. It was apparent he knew the man who had just entered. "It's been long since we had a drink like this..." The man, Deros as he was known replied and dropped the items on the table while he brought a chair that was around the corners and placed it opposite Herald. Herald flicked his hand and another cup appeared out of no where and he helped himself pour the drink in the goblet. Deros smiled as he gulped down his content after he had served himself. Herald raised his goblet and poured down the wine in his throat... Deros served another drink and a Herald gulped down the whole content, they discussed like the old friends they were for some minutes until Herald clutched his stomach in pains... He coughed out blood and staggered forward while his eyes changed color and he faced Deros. "Imposter!" Herald growled as saw the true form of Deros. Derek smiled as his true form appeared instead of Deros. "Just die Herald, you can't fight the poison, it was made specially for you by Lady Vollak" Derek said. Blood poured again from Herald's nose but his pained face morphed into a smile. "I might be poisoned but Vollak didn't tell you I can't die with just a poison... It takes something much more than a poison to bring me down" Herald said and his body glowed and his flaming sword appeared in his hand... "No!" Derek bellowed as his face darkened and he made to transform to his Lycan form. But he failed to know one thing, compared to Herald, his Lycan abilities were just play things... With a swift move, Herald vanished and appeared behind Derek, his sword slicing through Derek like nothing and the next minuite, Derek's head fell from his body... Herald staggered forward and soon his vision blurred and he fell with a hard thud, unconscious. . . ¶¶Flashback ¶¶ The sound of swords clanking rented the silent atmosphere as Herald and Morrison could be seen fighting with their flaming swords... "Easy old man..." Morrison mocked as he vanished as Herald's sword came in contact with him. Herald immediately rolled on the grassy floor and raised his sword above his head and another sword came in contact with his. Morrison became visible and his sword turned to two, he used his other Sword and slashed Herald who still struggled to block the sword right above him with his. Herald vanished and appeared some feet away from Morrison, his sword still dangling in midair against Morrison. "You called me old man? What should I call the immortal hunter then?" Herald replied and he stretched his hand towards his sword, his sword moved without Herald touching it, the sword alone battled Morrison, rhyming with the same movement as Herald's hand moved. "Oh shut up Herald, everyone knows I'm still as young as ever...." Morrison said and he blocked, ducked and slashed the sword which moved magically against him. "Young? Well, you were still young when Akan caused terror, thankfully, I'm way older than you are..." Herald smirked. "I've heard that tales from you blah blah blah blah... You are older but not as skillful as I am" Morrison replied and Herald felt a cold steel on his neck. No one needed to tell him that Morrison had once again defeated him. "Told ya..." Morrison grinned as he released Herald from his cold steel... "Can't believe I fell for your illusion technique..." Herald frowned. "You should know that even as an Hybrid, you can't defeat me..." Morrison elucidated. By now, they packed their back pack and made to exit out of the wood they were sparring. "Just shut up braggart... We have been away for too long from the coast, let's quickly head back" Morrison said. They hurled their bags on their back and made way out of the woods. . . . A beautiful woman walked through the woods, her neatly packed braised hair blew eerily, flowing with the rhyme of the breeze while her brown eyes glittered. She stopped on her track as she noticed some unfamiliar smell hanging in the air. The smell was too familiar, she knew the smell carried danger and dark energy... Dozens of black ninja hunters appeared before her and her smile morphed into a smirk. The hunters carried different weapons such as kunai, chain blades and some other poison laced weapon like the prickles. "You guys never get tired of following me?" The woman asked. After she had left her pack since she was the alpha, she wanted to take some fresh air in the forest with no guards, who would dare attack an alpha? She had noticed she was being followed and she had purposely led them to where they were now. She had led them to a trap. "Alpha Mera... You have captured the heart of our Lord, Lord Guo and he had ordered us to bring you to him..." One of them answered. "Tell him that I have other important business to attend to, I have no time to meet up with any lord..." Mera replied. The ninjas looked at themselves and they readied their weapons. "I'm sorry, we were ordered to bring you at all cost, even if it costs our life, we must deliver you to him..." They charged at her and she welcomed them. 'I guess they wish to see my other side, and I'm going to show them the true image of Abomination' Mera elucidated. . . . In a minuite, all the ninja were dead, their body parts ripped all around, Mera walked over their bodies, she jerked one of the dead soldiers up and ripped his heart out and Feasted on it. She licked her bloodstained lip and little growls emanated from her throat. "Nice show there, killing hunters and eating their hearts...." Morrison said as he came of of his hiding together with Herald who stared at the lady. Mera frowned, she stared at the young handsome men before her and she smiled, showing her long fangs. "Who are you?" Mera growled out. "We are hunters who hunt down dark creatures who kill for no reason..." Herald replied this time. After they had left the woods, heading back to Moonlight coast, he had heard a tiny voice screaming for help with his enhanced hearing. Together with Morrison, both had vanished and appeared behind a tree and had seen the lady rip apart the hunters she had fought with. "Hunters... I hate hunters..." Mera growled and her eyes dilated, she roared and sharp ice blades came out of nowhere and headed at Morrison and Herald's direction. Morrison hit his sword on the floor and a wall of dust swirled from the ground and Herald's eyes dilated to blue and he swayed his hand, the dust cleared, the ice blades were nowhere to be seen. Mera was stunned, she was taken by surprise by the prowess of the men before him. She twirled her hand and her body became clean, no blood stains or dirts on her, her clothes were clean, no one would have thought she had just eaten a heart or killed someone. Herald and Morrison stared at the strange lady, both men were carried away by her beauty, she sure looked like a goddess. "I'm Mera... You?" She said and stretched her hand towards them with a smile. . . ¶¶Present day ¶¶ Drey ran as fast as his legs could carry him, sweats trickled down his face even though there was a strong wind slapping him on his face as he ran. It wasn't because the weather was hot but panic and fear made him sweat. A figure zoomed past him and waited in some meters in front of him. Malia! "Stop!" Malia requested as she wore a worried and confused expression on her. Drey slowed his pace and when he got to her, he stopped. "Get out of the way..." Drey snapped angrily. "I can't get out, you just lept out of the class like an insane creature and now you are heading back to God knows where!" Malia replied. "You can't just understand, Herald is in trouble, I can feel it!" Drey retorted. Malia scoffed, now she hate how she was acting bossy on Drey, she was acting as if she was talking to Skylar.. Skylar, the name brings back memory to her, she misses him dearly, she wasn't at fault, Drey and Skylar had similar habits and that's taking decisions without thinking them and both were fearless. "Herald? How did you know that he's in trouble? Don't act like a douche bag..." Drey sighed and moved closer towards Malia. Malia's heart banger rapidly against her chest as Drey moved closer towards her. "Listen to what I have to tell you carefully..." Drey whispered into her ear and Malia felt tingles on her body that her legs immediately felt weak. "I see things... This day, more like it's happening in my presence... You won't understand, I don't know why it's happening to me and when we were in class, I saw Herald in danger and I need to get to him before it's too late..." Drey explained and moved away from her.
