Drey coughed and his eyes opened, He slowly sat up since he had been been lying on a comfy bed. He rubbed his blurry eyes and he saw that he was in a well ventilated cream colored room. He squeezed his face as he tried to recollect how he had gotten there. Last time he remembered, he was on his way to the temple and then... And then... Yes, Kyle! He had only heard Kyle's voice and the next minuite he had blacked out. Could he possibly be in Kyle's coven? "Somebody help!" He screamed but he didn't get any reply. He saw his sword placed on a corner beside a chair, he sighed happily and tried to move towards it. A chain chain yanked him back and that was when he figured out that his right leg had been chained to the bed while his sword was far away from his side. Now, he was stuck in God knows where place... . . . . Malia wandered round the pack community with anger expression on her face. Skylar walked behind her while she she fumed in anger. "Skylar, Just calm down... He's kind of in an important meeting..." Skylar spoke behind her and she snarled. "Really? You saw how he yelled at me!" Malia fumed. "I know Malia, He's your father and also an Alpha, he has the pack affairs to attend to..." Skylar explained, trying to calm Malia. "I f*****g know that Sky! You f*****g saw that expression on his face when we entered..." Malia said. "Yeah, I saw it... It was like they were waiting for something to attack them... They were all scared, even Alpha Thawne and Kyle..." Skylar said as he recollected the expression of fear he had seen on their faces. There was no force powerful enough to make the Alpha and... Kyle! The thought of Kyle always made him angry... Even he was scared and then, he hadn't seen Kyle and the Alpha go along so well, they had always been at loggerheads and everyone in the pack knew that. "Maybe something important is going on... Kyle was at the meeting too which means whatever they were discussing was something that affected both clans..." He elucidated. Tfffff Malia stopped as a thought dropped on her mind. "Sky... you told me there was a vampire attack on our guards at the border right?" Malia asked. "Yes... What about it?" Skylar replied, he wasn't getting the point Malia was trying to make. "That day, I overheard your dad telling my dad that Kyle had said he found seven of his men dead but my dad had said Kyle was picking up an excuse to wage war and break the alliance..." Malia elucidated, Skylar frowned, he wasn't getting any point from her explanation. "So?" Skylar asked in a confused manner. "So...? That's all you could say? What I mean is, there's someone out there trying to stir up war between them!" Malia yelled in frustration. "Okay Okay, you mean there's some kind of army out there taking down our men and the vampire's right?" Skylar asked as he was finally getting something from Malia's claim. "Exactly my point Sky!" "There's someone or army trying to wage war and I think the elders were quick to figure that out and bring out a solution..." Malia squealed. "Alright, so that means that they were waiting for someone to come in when we entered right?" Skylar elucidated as he the puzzle was being fixed. "Yes... Someone powerful, you see the fear on their faces?" "Yes I did" Skylar replied... By now, they were coming back into the pack house when Malia suddenly stopped and sniffed something in the air. "You smell that?" Malia asked as her nose tilted in tye direction of the Healer's mansion. "Yeah... It smells like a human..." Skylar answered as he sniffed the air too and they faced the direction of the Healer's house. "No human had been here before, how come there's one at the Healer's house?" Malia elucidated. Skylar went still in silence as he narrowed his ears, where they were was miles away from the Healer's house. 'Somebody help!' 'Anybody there?' Skylar froze as he heard the voice of the human screaming. "Drey!" Skylar muttered and Malia gasped... "If Drey is here, that means..." Skylar muttered and his face landed on Malia and their eyes' budged out. "Herald Rake!" . . . Herald sat among the elders as they ruminate over the issue they were facing. "I'm sorry I can't do it... I can't fight Morrison" Herald declined and the Elders murmured. "Please Morrison... We can't stop him, only you can stop him, you are the Ruthless Hybrid, the Hybrid that shows no mercy, Wicked and Fearless in battle!" Elder Brett said. "You all don't get it, do you? I can't fight Morrison! He's tricking you..." Herald said. "How?" Kyle asked this time around. "The prophecy... 'The Ruthless Hybrid and the Hybrid Abomination shall battle over a woman' That's what he wants, he knows that you will come from me and he's going to make sure the prophecy comes to pass!" Herald explained and the Elders mummured. "But the prophecy is incomplete!" Alpha Thawne countered. "Yes but the one we know of must be prevented!" Herald snapped. "Maybe Herald may be right..." Kyle said and everyone focused on him. "How is he right?" One of the elders asked. "Remember what Mera said that night before Morrison took her away... She said when Morrison wanders back into the pack, we should all that that the prophecy has started unfolding and now, it's already falling into place!" Kyle explained. "But if we don't fight back, Morrison will kill wipe us all out and Herald would have no choice than to fight back... It's still gonna happen either ways..." Elder Brett said and they all agreed. "I said I can't fight him... My powers..." Herald paused and he stared hard at all of them. "My powers are fading away..." He replied sadly and the hall quietened and a long gasp escaped them all. "But how? I mean, the prophecy didn't talk about your powers fading off" Alpha Thawne asked, he still couldn't believe the news. Herald Rake, the Merciless hybrid who had wiped out an entire pack of wolves singlehandedly. "I don't know but right now, half of my powers are gone..." Herald replied. "It's still even, Morrison is also an hybrid of half power, the other half had been destroyed inside Mera..." Kyle said. "This whole prophecy had been proclaimed... There's no stopping this Herald" One of the Elders said. Herald felt uneasy as a heat sensation swirled beneath his yummy as he smelt a aura flow into the hall. His eyes dilated to blue and he stood up like someone possessed as the aura became stronger into the room. The elders noticed the sudden change in Herald and they quietened, they didn't understand what he was doing but they knew whatever he was doing was something they must not intrude. That aura, It was the aura Morrison can't seem to forget... Mera's Aura! How? Mera can't possibly be here... "Mera... Her scent fills this room.." He muttered and the hall gasped.. They panicked, if Mera was here, it wouldn't be good. "There's no strange aura Herald, though, no one knows the Aura you Mera because it's unique... That's the scent of my son" Beta Emmy answered as he couldn't decipher what Herald was saying. "Your son's scent?" Herald asked. "Yes sire" "Impossible! What I smell is Mera's..." Herald replied with disbelief and then The door busted open and Skylar bolted in. Herald's eyes turned green briefly and it followed by a shade of his usual blue glowing eyes... "Mera's descendant?" Herald gasped.
