CHAPTER TEN In the weeks following Faith Wesley’s murder, time seems to slow. We finish interviewing Faith’s hooker friends, each one less helpful than the one before. There is still no hit on the DNA sample, and I begin to blame the stalled case on Larry’s incompetence. Already prickly about his drinking, Larry has grown even less congenial.
