--- *Chapter 5: The "Priority" Shows Up* My office door opened without a knock. A girl walked in. 22. Blonde. Designer bag. The "priority". My assistant tried to stop her. "Ma'am you can't--" I raised my hand. "It's fine. Let her in." She sat across from me. Didn't even ask. "You're Alia Queen," she said. Not a question. I leaned back in my chair. "And you're the reason my company lost $200M yesterday." She flinched. Then smiled. Fake. "Rayan told me about you. Said you were... an option." The word hit like a slap. 2 years later and it still hurt. I smiled instead. Cold. "An option that built a $2.1 Billion company in 2 years. What did you build?" Her smile dropped. "Look," she said. "I didn't come here to fight. I came to warn you." She pulled out her phone. Showed me a text. `Miss you. Come over tonight. - R` My chest tightened. But my face didn't change. "So?" I said. "So he still texts me," she said. "He still calls me at 2AM." She stood up. "You won the company. But you didn't win him back." She walked to the door. Then turned. "Oh and... he said your perfume is too strong." The door closed. I sat there for 60 seconds. Then I opened my drawer. Pulled out that same perfume. The one he bought me. I threw it in the trash. My assistant knocked. "Ms. Queen, your 3PM meeting?" "Cancel it," I said. My voice didn't shake. "And get me Rayan Corp's stock report. All of it." If he wants to play games... Let's play. --- *End of Chapter 5*
