David’s face darkened. “At a time like this, you’re still pretending? Kate, this is going too far! Get in the car!”
Kate rolled her eyes and strode away.
David was furious. His driver asked, “Young Master, should we follow her?”
“Just go! Hmph, I was nice enough to invite her to dinner, and she gives me attitude? Let her regret it!” David snapped.
As the luxury car passed Kate, David instinctively turned to look at her, expecting a look of regret. However, Kate was busy scanning the restaurants, completely oblivious to them.
