THAT morning, loud screams filled the hallway where the chambers of 10 remaining ladies, Lady Park shouts her lungs out making the Imperial guards strode on her chamber.
"My servant got attack! She's unconscious! She's killed!" Lady Park frantically said making the other ladies come out of their own chambers and look at her.
One guard check Lulu's pulse.
"She's just unconscious Lady Park, but she's alive."
"Someone hurt her then! Someone I know!" she said with all certainty.
Kana showed himself after she said that, and Lady Park's hawk like eyes darted on him.
"You! You did this to my servant!" she said in a loud voice.
"And what proof do you have in that grave accusation Lady Park?" Kana said in a straight face and cold voice.
It's early in the morning but he's already wearing a beautiful hanbok, his hair is finely styled adorned by the phoenix pin that was given by the Empress.
Under that hanbok is his outfit for the talent show later.
While Lady Park on the other hand looks really stress and improper. Her hair is a mess and she's only wearing her thin robe.
Kana remove his outer robe made with silk and handed it to Sheen, his servant put the robe on Lady Park's body.
"Please be decent, you are facing the guards, as the Crown prince future Consort, you should preserve your body for his highness' eyes only. Guards, carry the servant inside the chamber and someone call the physician." Kana ordered and everyone move.
This act of kindness was mistaken by Lady Park's envious heart.
"How dare you ordered around like someone special!"
Kana pretend to be caught off guard.
He push Lady Park inside her own chamber.
"I shouldn't be doing this because you just accused me earlier but as a good person, I won't retaliate, don't you know that my servant Lili also got beaten up and she's also unconscious now? Don't you think we should report this to his Majesty so he will take actions, soon enough all our servants will be hurt and we don't know who did it, what do you think, Lady Park?" Kana suggested.
Her face was filled with mix emotions.
Kana knows that she ordered her servant to hurt Lili, and having the Emperor aware of this matter will lead to further investigation and she might get caught!
Kana get his robe from Lady Park's body using his fingertip and thumb like he is holding a piece of trash, then he throw it to Sheen.
He hovered over the frightened Lady Park and whispered.
"And if I know and I have proof that someone near me really hurt my servant that render her unconscious and beaten up, I will strangle her neck and beat her with my own hands," Kana stood up straight like he didn't say anything.
"Let's go Sheen."
After Kana left, he didn't witness Lady Park slowly sat down on the floor, her strength was gone. She slump down, feeling hopeless and scared.

"Your Highness, all the ministers and officials has arrived at the Imperial Court to witness the final stage of the selection." Khlui said and he bowed down in deep kowtow.
The Emperor feel delighted.
"Let's go there and start this."
"Father, I am not aware about the sudden changes of the schedules, I want to remind everyone that We are choosing my partner here, or soon to be Empress not just a plain concubine, so if you change something at least let me know... Pardon me father."
Crown Prince Sunwoo said and they all got up.
"Of course my son, of course!" The Emperor nodded, he agreed so. Whatever might be the result, Prince Sunwoo can still do what he want.
They went to the Imperial court and they are welcome by a festive event. It's almost twilight and dinner was about to be serve when all the ladies who will attend the last part of the competition lined up and took their numbers.
Crown Prince Sunwoo sit on his designated area beside the Emperor, once again, his eyes darted on the 10 remaining ladies.
5 of them will be luckily selected as his wives but he opted to marry one and be his empress.
This selection was made by his father the Emperor to avoid the possibility of this scum officials to enter their daughters in the Harem for their own benefits.
This is to show them that all should be fair and square.
The head Eunuch of the Emperor shouted, "Please be comfortable at any moment now, we will be drawing the lots and the number we will call will be the first to perform."
Excitement filled Prince Sunwoo's heart.
He's really thinking what Kana will do.
