EVERYTHING IS NEW to Kana. He doesn't know how to react, mingle, and treat them. In his future life, he is an orphan. He didn't experience how is it to have parents. But still after studying their traits and characteristics, Kana started to love them.

The Imperial edict gives the candidates for consort selection 2 weeks to prepare. The selection will be in three categories. Talent, skills, and Intelligence.

Which he all had, he can dance, thanks to being a dance troupe member way back in high school, he can cook thanks to his perseverance to be alone, and wield a sword again for his training before he entered the military in his future life and he is intelligent, The previous owner of this body is very silent and doesn't have anything special on him, but the KANA in the future which is him, is Jack of all trades.

"Brother... What can we do if they find out that I am a man?" Kana nervously said. That will be considered as treason if he is revealed.

"The crown prince knew that you are a man, he knows you. He's my friend despite our status, and I can say, Kana, that you had a chance." Yin said tapping his back. They just finished training. He is happy that Kana personally asked him to teach him how to use a sword.

Which is very pleasant for him. Yin often asks his brother before to train with him but the previous Kana always declines.

"But don't let the other Prince get you, especially the second prince Haii, He is evil in an angel facade. Prince Haii is a great competitor for the throne, and even though the next successor is already decided, still, we still know that he wanted to compete. He is obsessive, whatever Prince Sunwoo has, he works hard to steal."

General Han Li looks dashing in his military outfit.

General Han explains.

The three of them followed her inside the manor to have a taste of her delicious delicacy and of course for Kana to learn how to brew tea.

Back in the palace in The Dancing Dragon Palace where the Crown Prince is living.

"Klhui, how's the preparation for the process of the consort selection?" Prince Sunwoo asks his assistant. Only Khlui he trusted amongst the trials of his servants.

"All is well, Your Highness. Those ladies you didn't choose will be put in another selection for the other Princes, and those unlucky will be sent home to be betrothed the the nobles."

Sunwoo nodded his head. He knew the edict said that every household in the noble families should provide their youngest daughters. And no one knows that General Han has a son except Commander Yin.

Kana is known as a lady. He's very beautiful. Sunwoo just finds out by mistake that he is a man, and that was when Kana tripped on a stone when they were walking together in the Sunflower Palace. Sunwoo could not help but feel the heat on his face on how he felt Kana's chest. It's embarrassing.

He sighs deeply. He hadn't seen him for a while since Yin, Kana's brother said that he fell off the roof, Sunwoo got worried but Yin assured him that Kana was fine and healthy.

Crown Prince Sunwoo is sure that Kana will attend the selection.

And he will do everything to have him as his consort. He is tired of going out of the palace just to visit him. Crown Prince Sunwoo will take him and place Kana beside him, on the dragon throne.

That would be great.

In the beautiful Roses Palace where the First Imperial Consort resided, the second Prince is pacing back and forth, he is mad about his Imperial Father's edict.

"Mother! Do you agree with this? We are like dogs who take leftovers. I am a prince's mother. I deserve to choose my princess." The second Prince snapped at her.

His mother is the First Imperial consort. She's next to the Empress. She's a schemer and a fighter, she succeeded in taking down any obstacles until she accepted defeat when she wasn't the one chosen to be the Empress.

She said she worked hard to remain in her position right now. She's the daughter of the fallen Prime minister of Yuan after all.

"Endure for now my son... Just endure for now... That's what I have been doing since then, from being a lowly concubine to now as an Imperial Consort, I am what I am because I endure and persevere. As long as the mother is alive... Mother help you." Consort Mia looks at the teacup in her hand. Consort Mia lifts her teacup and sips on it elegantly while a ghost smile appears on her red-painted lips. She is far more glamorous than the Empress.

"Come closer. Don't talk aloud because there might be ears on the walls," she said meaningfully and the prince sat beside her. Prince Haii listened eagerly. And after that. They both had a sinister smile on their faces.
