The purpose of the Masquerade Party held by Lorenzo and Leonardo was to catch the crime lord at the act.

Their first suspect is Marco Conti, of Sicilian members, and Sicilian members are known as the high-ranking Mafioso and feared most and not to mess with.

So, Lorenzo and Leonardo had no proof to point and pin Marco on the dealing. It's only word in the street they heard, but with Marco’s black sly eyes and the wry smile he always had on his face, it was making him to be the prime suspect on the list.

The mafias are supposed to sell illegal weapons, sell drugs, and own illegal casinos as well as nightclubs to clean their illegal money.

But, when the children are involved, that is something Lorenzo and Leonardo are fighting against. They were ruining the reputation of Mafias in Italy.

The two Alphas have heard that the stimulants named Mindbend supplied by Marco were produced by extracting the pheromones from the innocent Alpha children illegally, that’s why recently more children have been reported missing.

And every week there will be more children missing.

The stimulants are used to alter an Alpha’s thoughts, emotions, and actions making them susceptible to manipulation.

Are simply used to manipulate other Alphas that’s why Lorenzo and Leonardo use the Pherox suppressants to suppress the Mindbend stimulant but the other side effects, the Pherox conceal the Alpha’s scent enabling them to pick their omega’s scent and also make their omegas not they to pick their scent.

Well, Scarlett, she was a different kind of omega breed. She was an Ondine omega and Ondine omegas are known for being vulnerable in so many ways and they can't control their heat the moment their nose picks their compatible Alphas scents, which makes them act strange.

Lorenzo was dancing with the omega and when he caught her sister dancing with his suspect, his overprotective mode unlocked making his veins pop out from his strong neck.

He knew that allowing Scarlett to attend the party would somehow invite danger and he knew that Scarlett’s beauty was rare and that many Alphas find it very attractive and they would take advantage of her.

He quickly stopped dancing and rushed to Scarlett by grabbing her wrist and swiftly removing her body from that crime lord.

“Wait, what did I do?” Scarlett asked feeling her legs walking at the fastest pace and couldn’t match her brother's fast pace anymore.

Lorenzo breathed and found his deep, manly voice croaked when saying, “You should go back to your room and lock the door. You were not supposed to be here.”

Scarlett brought her hands up to her chest and asked, “Why? Am I not omega enough to dance with Alphas like other omegas?”

“Not these Alphas my dear sister.”

“I think I can take care of myself. I’m not a baby anymore Lorenzo. Are you aware of that?” her voice was thick and just evidencing how pissed she was.

But Lorenzo was not there to nurse her. He grabbed her hands and then dragged her. But, Scarlett rigid her body, trying to make a scene.

Lorenzo had enough and picked her up tightly and walked with her up the stairs.

“You should swing with noble Alphas Scarlett, trust me. These men are dangerous for you.”

“So you are saying you don’t deserve to mate?”

Lorenzo reached the end of the stairs and put Scarlett to her feet and simply answered, “Yes, that’s why I’m using the suppressants. They allow me not to pick my mate’s scent and she also won’t pick mine.”

Scarlett removed her mask. And looked downstairs and watched Leonardo still dancing with that omega.

“Do you mean, you and Leonardo use the Pherox suppressants?” her voice was not audible as before making her eyeballs dance while asking the question.

Lorenzo eyed her for a minute before answering, “Yes, now go to your room, lock the door, and never come out before the party ends and everyone leaves.”

Scarlett was hurt by what Lorenzo said. I mean, how could Leonardo not want to be mated? But on the other side, she was glad to know that Leonardo ignored her because he was not aware of the mating bond.

However, the big question in her head playing, was, if the Pherox suppressants make the omega not pick the scent of their Alphas, so how did she instantly pick the scent of Leonardo?

Scarlett walked to her bedroom. She opened the door, closed, and locked it.

Her mind was all about researching about the Pherox suppressants but first, she wanted to take a quick shower and put herself in comfortable sleepwear.

She grabbed her dress by the spaghetti straps and pulled them down exposing her naked body, not that she was all naked, she had a red lace thong on with bare breasts. Her breasts were perky and small and did not need a bra at all.

She slipped out of her heel shoes, then the dress followed by the thong, and left them on the white shiny floor tile.

Her room was spacious and bright with an En-suite bathroom and wardrobe.

Scarlet put on a shower cap over her head opened the shower faucet and stepped inside the shower stall.

An hour after she was done, she grabbed her laptop climbed her bed, and started typing after she switched it on.

Pherox Suppressants for Alphas:

- It’s a synthetic compound created from the extract of the ‘Pheroxis’ Plant which only blooms under the light of a full moon.

- Contains “Pheroxine” ( C2OH3OO4 ) a complex molecule that mimics the structure of natural pheromones, making it an effective masker.

Before she could continue with her research, she felt her body starting to react funny, and not only funny. She was experiencing heat.

It wasn’t a surprise to her.

At school, only in senior school, they have taught them about the heat of Omegas that they can only be triggered when the Omega picks a scent of their compatible Alpha and she just picked the scent of her mate two hours ago.

They have learned that some omegas can control their heat and some can not, especially Ondine ones, and Scarlett was an Ondine.

Ondines were known to overpower their heat suppressants, and to this day, medical doctors are still trying to find the chemical that can be used to suppress their heat because Ondines can be vulnerable when in heat.

Ondines can become predators of other Alphas for scent marking and force Alpha to have s*x with them because their heat is unbearable to stand.

Also, the Ondine's heat scent is powerful enough to linger in the room and make Alphas to be sexually active for them which will put them in high danger.

Scarlett lifted her pink satin mini night dress and spread her thighs while breathing out hot breath, feeling her body on heat, and her underneath slicking. She was soaked wet and even wetting the bed.

The air in her room was so thick and sultry and finding her doing self-gratification and just producing more Feraline pheromones.

Feraline pheromones are the arousal and wild hormones produced by Omegas on heat.

In the meanwhile, Lorenzo and Leonardo had their eyes on their prime suspect but Marco was just dancing and enjoying with the other omega.

And, everything changed when their bodies were experiencing weird senses. Their suppressants and stimulants were not strong enough to suppress or overpower the Feraline pheromones.

The low flat groans were escaping the Alpha's lips and scaring the other omegas since omegas cant smell other omegas' feralines and Lorenzo as a sibling couldn’t smell Scarlett’s Feraline but with the head turn of the Alphas he knew something was up.

“You need to chase out everyone, it's your sister,” Lorenzo was approached by Marco.

Without being stubborn, he minds-linked his subordinates to help by chasing out the stubborn Alphas.

Leonardo helped along with Marco.

Alphas had strength but each of them had their abilities of strength and Marco exuded more strength from each of them including Lorenzo and Leonardo which pissed Lorenzo off even worse.

“You can go too,” Lorenzo said after he turned to Marco.

Marco nodded and left.

Leonardo felt dizziness in his head but he thought maybe it was because he used more of his strength to push the Alphas out of the mansion.

He prances back and nearly stumbles by the statue.

“Take it easy,” Lorenzo said helping him to walk to the table side.

I mean, the Pherox Suppressants wear off after a few hours and they come with a headache and that was usual but it was too early for both of them for the Pherox to wear off.

Leonardo banged his head against the table when Lorenzo put him there and his body was generating heat more than normal.

“Hey, come and pick him up and take him to one of the guest's rooms. Upstairs,” Lorenzo ordered his subs.

Leonardo was his best friend and there was no way he would send him to his residence looking like that without having a care.

But, what was worrying him mostly, was his younger sister upstairs. With the Alpha's reactions, he was wondering who could be Scarlett’s mafia Alpha mate amongst them. He didn’t want to escape the thought but, he eventually gave in, could it be Marco Conti? No way.

He felt chills building in him, and his insides twisting.

How could the moon goddess pair his lovely younger sister with a crime lord?

Well, Scarlett was playing with herself on the bed and just feeling how wet she was. The wetness engulfed her fingers to hand with heavy moans escaping her lips.

Lila gasped and asked, “Who is your compatible Alpha?”

“Leonardo.”

“What? Your brother's best friend? Does your brother know? And how does Leonardo feel about this?”

“Yes, but none of them know.”
