Victor

Victor .. Victor.. the voces always called out to him. But he resisted. He looked at his wife's blushed cheeks and smiled. It was a charming smile that sent half of the people in his office in a daze. He personally had not yet made up his !Ind on whether he hated or liked the charm he carried.  Today he was to meet the newspaper representative on the death of an employee from his office in Palm Court. While Palm Court was indeed his largest office, he usually preferred working from his underground state of art offices with Gymnasium and a small bedroom. He looked at Savi. She would not like if he pressed her again for another round of well.. s*x. She did have a good s****l drive but he had worn her out, still he tried and she said no. Then she blushed again.  Victor got up. While his office thought him to be a super charismatic person and he liked that mass appeal, it did get a little irritating when it caused unnecessary problem for his company. He had all sympathy for the deceased, a womann he vaguely remembered as an eager, if too eager Assistant. He glanced over the memories so the one where she dropped tea of him or stutter in his presence aand got muddled. When he asked for a detail infront of a colleague did not raise their head when he was speaking. Ofcourse there was a little matter to discipline that he will have to do, to his very efficient secretary Shaila. When Shaila gave him the news of the demise,. She had spoken of the deceased as that girl who kept staring at your private parts.  On a different date and time,Victor would have immediately rebuked him , for not understanding basics of how to speak to a Senior. It was something he needed to do with respect to Shaila from time to time. She did forget corporate basics, not often but nevertheless. He was not her friend! But her Boss.  But that day she crossed a line of decency by disrespecting the deceased.   he will have to give her a formal note of warning.  May be it was time to replace Shaila. Well it would be difficult to get a replacement but he knew somewhere it was a decision that he had been postponing. Savi will be happy. She aalways felt Shaila knew him longer than Savi.  As he stepped out Savi messaged him that she would be taking a few days break from her sociaal commitments. Formally, she issued an apology citing being deeply disturbed by the recent death in the organisation. Victor shrugged . It was nothing knew. Savi would usually take a few days off . Their intense s*x drained her and that made him smile. She would be willing, rather, begging for more in a day. The trick he used to keep her in line was to limit it for sometime, till .. well a day like yesterday. A hungry tigress .. was his Savi.  He drove down in a slower pace, rolling his mind over what he will be asked.  He could have ignored the request but he decided to meet one Press member. The Publicity spocs in his office did not like it but Victor did not agree. He cann be wrong but that will be something to see and learn. He was the first business man of his family. So each new incident meant a new learning. He just wished his wonderful father was alive today to see him succeed. But he died, died trying to bring back his wife, who was leaving him.  Victor took a deep breath and composed himself and walked in. The Press waas excited that Victor agreed to meet. Then when the name of the Press member was announced , they were disappointed . Sabita Sadhoo was a new bee in the line of journalism. She was a fresh graduate whi has been recruited by a small news publication. Her choice startled her too. She had expected it would be someone from the bigger publication. As she walked in on time, she remembered the jokes people cracked when they thought she was not listening . "We know what led to the selection..!!" " Did her biodata have the picture of her legs..?!"  When she was escorted to the meeting room, she expected a big room with lots of people. But she was introduced to a small meeting room by a lady called Shaila. There was only one occupant who sat relaxed on the side in a plush sofa.  He stood up with a lazy grace that reminded one of a lion. He smiled a smile that would have sent a million women melt into poodles of whatever. Then he looked behind her to say, " That's all Shaila. I will take over from here." He spent the next few mins making her a cup of coffee and getting her biscuits, then he made her relax with a story of how he started as a chef and wanted to try out making coffee the proper way . Her off now and on now friend or special friend would have never done anything beyond tossing her a bottled water. Victor as he introduced himself was ofcourse the CEO of this concern. Yet his manner was not proud or impatient. Behavior traits of her small newspaper CEO, who every next day loved to call group meetings and show off his career. He also liked to laugh at juniors and their mistakes. But Victor was not like that . He could imagine him being kind , patient and observant along with being insanely handsome .Why did no one say of his looks !  The interview went smooth. The CEO gave her adequate time to ask all her questions. She was hesitant to ask one that said,"Where were you during this period of Aline's disappearance and the rescue." He raised one of his brows but then shrugged and said, " Sunday when she disa.ppeared I was home working with my Middle eastern counterpart Mr Sayed. We had to work till Wednesday to sort out the paperwork and the plans. Thursday I usually take a light day and if you must know, I dedicated it to pampering my wife. I took her to a spa , haircut, shopping and all. It was her birthday and so I were on a formal break. Friday I wanted to work from home but had to come to work when Aline's mother requested our assistance. I understand my team contacted the right person's to aid Patty, Aline's mother. I got late and reached home early Saturday from work.  "What about saturday, as she was recovered on Sunday." Saturday I was with a few buddies in the golf course. I have almost mastered golf, almost being the key word here. Victor ended with a smile.  Aline stepped out with details clutched in her notebook. She wondered if she was missing any key points. But the daylight was mellow , so she quickly hurried towards her office.
