Savi had another name with which she was born but her husband wanted her to be called Savi. She knew it was linked to a mythology from the east of a pure woman named Savitri. She blushed as she thought that she was not all that pure post the relations with her husband.
Some others would laugh at her thoughts. And say , if she is intimate with her husband , where is the impurity. Savi smiled to herself. It was not a kind smile but an evil one. Years with her husband had taught her to just go with the flow. Any bargains did not work nor sensible approach or emotional ones. Best way was to show what she felt. Atleast Victor had no concern with accepting that on normal days. On some diabolic ones , he took it on him to break down her .. few remaining walls to dust.
On the walls of her bedroom hung a mirror that has seen more that it should have, possibly that was why there were thin cracks on either side.. She smiled a little. The games will start soon enough. It will keep her hooked and horny till she was ready to be anything he wanted. Only when there were.. someone else attracting his attention was he unmindful of him. Throwing in some bits of vanilla s*x every few days to keep her in the line but she knew he was being.. busy elsewhere.
Who were they, she never could find out. Victor possibly knew she understood but chose to ignore. One did not bother with the lapdog at home when there were wolves to tame outside . Someday one of those wolves would eat her up, and he would enjoy that show but till then she served the purpose.
Today she was carried a message from a charity run by a mysterious man named Zeezs. They requested her attendance to a private event. Usually Savi would never go out for few days after her.. interaction with her husband. But from the time she had discovered the mysterious connection between the Charity Royales and Zeezs she had been eager to know more. Who would not be tempted given Zeezs was one of the most iconic sculptors.. his depiction of the COVID virus as a creation of modern day excesses was considered the best in a hundred years. His sculptor at a southern state of alligators sharing food, was said to be the best answer to modern day rule where street dwellers were considered illegal and donating food to them opened the donator to prosecution. Everyone claimed he was a teen initially, then the news came of his being almost eighty five, guesses on gender, whether there were more than one floated across. But he worked through his agent and a solid legal team that protected his identity and privacy like a hawk.
Savi hence got dressed, dropped a message to her husband's secretary and went out. She hoped he will understand and there will not be Anny consequences. But she did not know for certain. One incident came to her mind , when he had made her stand facing the wall on high heels and nothing else for five hours. Every time she moved, he would make her sit massage her knees, give her some water and food and then lead her to the wall for the undisturbed one hour. Ultimately by five hours that was achieved. She had lost track of time while out with her friends, chatted with them about the number of shoes she had and even shared a picture of her wardrobe. They became news the next day, with her giggling with her friends, boasting about the shoes and clothes. They even becoming a meme. Victor handled the news by ignoring and giving her the charity to manage. Somehow everyone forgot the news and she became a face of the society that had money but cared deeply.
Only she knew how she paid. She had to forget her friends, ignore their call for help, emerge a new woman, no longer the carefree, chatty one, her dresses changed as did her shoes. But she knew the particularly cruel ones, were bought and preserved to teach her lessons. Well he wont need them, unless he wanted to wear them himself or he wanted to wear them in prison.. she breathed out slowly and looked up at the sun. She smiled mysteriously, pulled down her glasses and walked into the charity's main office.
Unfortunately Zeezs was not there. But a young girl sat in the chair which too large for her. She looked uncomfortable and her dress was also not designer. Savi noted idly. She asked, " I was indicated that Zeezs would be here." Her voice indicated just the right mixture of slight irritation, lots of patience and and idle query. The girl liked up and smiled and straightened . Suddenly Savi did not feel that confident anymore. She was that small child whose father would make her stand out in the cold for any mistake. She should not have come today. This girl reminded her of vulnerability. But she took a deep breath and decided she was one of her fans who just pulled some strings to spend some time with her.
Sabita looked at the famous Savi and wondered at the cause of her fame. But she smiled and extended a firm hand for a shake. Savi looked uncomfortable but she shook her hand . As they took tea that Savi ordered, sip by sip, Sabita watched her demeanour change and become more confident and the socialite. They chated casually before Savi said, " So if there is nothing more?"
"Actually there is one little thing. I wondered if you ever met Aline ? The lady from your company who disappeared a few weeks ago? Her recovery and death has bothered all.. "
Savi felt cold. She wanted to get away from the place. " No.. she was not known to me. Of my husband's associates in his company , I know few. Only those with whom I deal with in my line of work."
"Right Ma'am . " Sabita got up and said her Thanks. " Of course if you ever remember anything. Her mother wants justice to be delivered. Her father like many others had discouraged the idea of her being in trouble. But then as you know, men are not always wise, as women are.. or rather some believe women has highly developed, if not always explored sixth sense."
Savi looked sharply around and then she asked in a softer tone, " Do you mean there are to be danger ?"
The girl, whom by now Savi understood was a reporter said, " I would not want there to bea danger. But there is no harm in being safe. I studied and understood the company that is flourishing, started years ago as a vision of your family's passion of keeping food natural. It is but natural that you are one of the only remaining members would want to keep the company safe. "
