Chapter 3: Familiar?

2377 Words
I woke up in an empty room, shades drawn and Mr. Olympia standing over me with a smirk. My hands fly to my face and check my mask, still on, then I throw my fist up and punch that jerk in the jaw. Mother I've been kidnapped. I should have seen that coming, happened to me once. I'm guessing he called you mate or something similar? She laughs through the link. Yes. Okay, I'll be over in a bit, but this is your only freebie since you aren't of age yet. She says and cuts off. I trust her to find me, despite the lack of directions and my lack of knowledge of where I was myself. Mr. Olympia doesn't even hold the jaw I punched, but grabs my waist and brings me up against the wall instead. I struggle to keep his face away when he leans in to capture my lips, but I grab his throat and push him back. I get him to the wall, the tables now turned, and hold him there while he calmly looks at me. "Why am I here?" I growl at him. "You are mine." "I am no one's possession." I snap and drop him. "I demand to be released now, or consequences will be great. Imagine twenty wolves, varying in size, beating your butt up in front of all your little pack friends." I threaten, the best thing I had at the moment. Mother said that when we hit of age, we suddenly became experts at everything, which is why in her stories she was always so calm and collected while I threatened a wall of muscle with my siblings. Mr. Olympia chuckles and starts to back me up by the window. His hand moves and starts tracing the birthmark on my hand while I bare my teeth. "Do we have a feisty one here? A good fighter, perfect for a Luna." He whispers. "You're an Alpha?" I ask, almost like a shout. An Alpha, that should be one heck of a showdown him and mother will have over me. "Yes, and you are..." he starts to bring a hand to my mask, but I swivel a leg around and kick him. When I try to lung for the door my hand is caught and I flail onto the bed. He handcuffed me!? I pull at the metal to see its strength and Mr. Olympia smiles, beginning to lean towards me, but at the last moment he stares into space, then gets a frustrated look. "This will continue later." He growls and leaves the room, the lock clicking and several pairs of feet shifting in his wake. Locked and guarded, great. I turn back to the cuffs and take a good look at them, pulling a bobby pin from my hair and messing with the lock for a few minutes. It pops open and I quickly pull the thing off, leaving it dangling on the head board and pressing an ear to the door. Ivory's POV: Hunter was such a darling before I left. "Are you sure you don't need back up?" He asks me. I spin the gun in my fingers and smile. "I'll be fine. These boys need to know to never steal a daughter away from her mother." I remark and take off in the trees, heading to the place Maria told me about. Before she was tied up in a room she spoke to me about what the guy looked like and where they took them. A nearby pack, black hair, green eyes, passed out in the back seat. Our family seems to love to be kidnapped. I take off at full speed through the described roads and highways until I come across another town. The streets all head to the middle and I follow them in secrecy, decked out in my usual hunting outfit, full body coverage as usual. I finally make it to the main pack house, a large brick building, and sneak in through a semi open window. I land softly on the carpet and look around, seeing book shelves and a table filled with chairs. Papers are spread out and are labeled for important pack stuff. A white board holds a time, and when I check, it was in about two minutes. Voices get closer in the hallway and I jump to the ceiling, grabbing onto the chandelier and waiting to see what the time was for. Many men fill in the seats and the room is dimmed, the main chair filled with the man Maria described, black hair and tall build. They start to discuss boundary lines with each other, the Alpha and others in command at a meeting. Like mother, like daughter. Alphas and being kidnapped. I silently jumped to the ground when they all looked at a man who walked to the white board and began to draw lines and words on it. He gasps and drops the marker when I stand and point my gun directly at the Alpha's head, silver bullet locked and ready. "My daughter." I demand. He chuckles, as if I was throwing useless words out, so I press the head against his skull. "Now." I growl, meaning business. The others at the table look to their leader for words of action, but I pull another out and point it at a random man sitting down. Alpha raises his hands reluctantly in defeat, real or not real was hard to tell, and walks me over to the door. I should be prepared, males don't give their mates up like this. Bianca's POV: Mr. Olympia has been gone for quite a while, and I really don't want him to come back. Where is mother? What happened to Maria? The door breaks inward and a white clad woman steps in. I cry and throw my arms around her, just noticing the passed out guards in the hallway and the woman laughing at them. "What happened?" I ask mother and she shrugs. "Things got complicated. I dropped in, demanded to see you, Alpha tried to trick me and bring me to the cells, I beat him up, beat the enforcers up, took down the guards and here we are. Maria!" She scolds when Maria was about to take a selfie with one. Mother jabs a finger in her direction. "She's drugged with a hallucinogen. We get to walk home while it wears off, but soon enough we will have to carry her. Prepared to run?" She asks, making her directions quick as her attention is brought to something down the hall. She quickly grabs both of us by the scruff of our shirts and drags us away quickly, then I hear him. Mr. Olympia was running down the hall with more men, and he sounded angry by just his footsteps. Maria is tossed over mother's shoulder, suddenly laughing as she speaks to her hands like they were people. I kept the same pace with mother as we jumped over couches and chairs, running through the living room and out the front door. We skidded to a stop when a whole army of angry pack members surrounded the area, Mr. Olympia somehow in front of them all. "Nice." Mother whispers under her breath, but holds her ground. "You broke into our home, attempted to kidnap our Luna..." He starts to growl, listing off her faults. "Mr. Alpha, sir, I would like to invite you to our home to explain some need to know things about your mate here. I promise you if you do this, she is all yours." "Why would I have any reason to trust you?" He snaps at her, Maria suddenly smiling cross eyed at a stray leaf blowing across the snow laden ground. "Because, as planned, I alerted the entire pack so you could come out here, where you are now, and calm down long enough for me to speak with you while you aren't trying to trap me." Mother informs, gesturing to his feet. He does a double take when he notices the X drawn in the snow, directly under him. "Oh look. Right in place." Mother says with a hidden smile, her plan completely worked out. Mr. Olympia looks astonished that he was completely predicted and all his actions were thought out and set into a plan he actually almost looked a version of scared. "Come, let's walk the way. Touch my daughter or make any move while I'm in the area and Maria's drugged body will become a baseball bat. And she won't feel a thing." Mother threatens and starts walking through the pack members, them parting after Mr. Olympia looks at them all and me following. He points to the two men with us before and the three follow us together, eventually leaving the town and reaching an empty highway. I run to catch up with Mother and keep her pace. "What about the..." "The car has been found and attended to. Don't worry, my dear, all possible outcomes of this trip have been accounted for." She assures me and keeps walking. I glance back at Mr. Olympia and he flashes a smile, but his eyes capture me suddenly, getting brighter and brighter until suddenly mother pulls me away. "I should have made rules. One, no forced heat! Two, try to hurt us and we will hurt you twice as hard. Three, No marking by surprise, I am quicker than you. What is your age, Alpha?" She quickly says. "Nineteen. Call me Jason." He says, giving me a seductive wink, but mother moves my gaze away from him again, and I notice Maria trying to flirt with one of the other guys. She finger waves at him and smiles, one hand propping her face up from my mother's back. The guy she was flirting with was giving her a weird look, then trying to find something else to look at. I sneak another glance at 'Jason' and see him mentally fighting with himself, and then Maria starts to kitty claw at the poor guy, making little roars as her hand comes down. I give mother a concerning glance and she turns around, cutting off the flirtatious attack. "I should have made a rule four." She mumbles after seeing Jason clenching his fists. "Rule four, no wolves coming out. He probably wants to get close to his mate, but I am putting up a rule five, no romantic gestures. Bianca, go hug him." She orders. I give her a look of confusion. "Either we have a wolf on our hands, or you give him a little attention to calm him down." She says, then continues walking away. I hesitantly walk over to the group and start to open my arms, slowly and reluctantly, but Jason roughly brings me into his arms. I'm squeezed in the power embrace, but it becomes less emotional and it's softened. I gently spin behind him and climb on his back, a soothing piggy back ride instead of hugging him until we get home. When the sky starts to reach a sunset, mother stops and sighs, turning around again. "How about a run? Keep up boys." She says and looks at me. I step down from Jason's back, electric currents running through my body when he touches my hand. Mother suddenly dashes away, and I follow at her heels, our speeds the same. Behind me I can hear the guys struggling to keep up and we soon make it back to the house, the guys panting slightly. "Oh no, looks like you will be staying the night. I'll have Carmen get your rooms ready. If you dare come near my daughter's bedroom at any point during your stay you will be punished." She leans in closely at the last part, then walks away into the pack house. I follow her quickly, avoiding Jason's gaze and slip inside, father picking me up in his arms. "Are you hurt? Did he mark you? Mate you?" He asks and starts digging at the fabric around my neck. I giggle when he tickles me instead and push him away. Jason steps inside and father tenses. "You." He growls, but I step between them. "Father, Jason. Jason, Alpha Hunter." I address the two, but the intense stare between them doesn't go away. A wave of siblings run over to me, and I freak push them away, taking them out of sight from the outside in the living room. From another room I hear Gabriel call out after them and follow me as we run into our shared bedroom. "What are you guys doing! He doesn't know what we are!" I whisper shout at them. I peek out the door and instruct them to stay in the room, where their uncovered violet eyes, almost white hair and all other White Warrior features were unseen. I slip out of the room and look down into the living room, Jason looking around the room confused until Mother appears and grabs him, looking up and catching my eyes. I lift my legs over the side and land on the floor, only a level up. She leads us into the meeting room and closes the door, staring off for a few moments, then looking at Jason. "You are wondering several things right now, why we are hidden, when is dinner, where are you sleeping, when can you have s*x with my daughter..." "I wouldn't say that..." "Don't deny it, I know you're thinking about it." She snaps and continues her composure. "Well, answers are hard to explain until we know a few things. Have you heard of the White Warriors?" She asks, starting to circle him. Jason stands firm in a sort of army position. "Yes." "How much do you know of them?" "They were a great species, highly skilled and fit for the toughest survival. They went extinct a while ago, I heard. They were feared but also revered." "And what do you personally think of them?" "I think they were legends, powerful werewolves that were hunted because people feared them too much." "What would you do if you ever met one?" "Why do you ask that?" Jason asks, breaking his posture to look at mother behind him. "A lot can be known about a person's personality from these questions. White Warriors are a good way to tell the strength of the mind, by what you thought of them." She explains, a half lie. "I guess meeting one would be an honour. I would ask them to help train my pack and make it stronger." He explains. "Well, you will be highly honoured." Mother says.
