Song for this Chapter: Mean It (Stripped)-Lany featuring Lauv CHAPTER 80 CORINNE Diesel drove me home with nothing but his oversized shirt on me. I am still shivering and shaking all throughout the drive way back home. I can still feel their hands on me. I can still hear their laughter. I can still feel the sloppy kisses their giving me all over my body. I don’t know if I will be able to forget about this. I can’t. I tried my best to suppress the sob while were driving. I don’t want to hurt Diesel anymore. And he lets me. He didn’t press me for more details, he just let me pour my misery out. And I couldn’t be much thankful. As we are driving, I kept looking at the busy streets of New York. As usual, all the people living here is getting along with their life, unaware that there’s me. that there is someone who wished nothing just to be dead and not be in this world anymore. For so many years, never did I ever thought of ending my own life or just be vanished into thin air. But right now, it’s all I could ever think about. I don’t know if how Blaze will handle the situation. It is my fault, I opened to Noah the opportunity to this to me. what if I didn’t kiss him that night, Blaze wouldn’t beat him up. Maybe I am at the graduation party having a good time, sipping drinks and dancing endlessly. When Die parked his car on our hotel’s parking lot. I am still sore and in pain, shaking. But I told him that he should let me on my feet, because I don’t want Blaze have an idea on his head. Diesel knew his own cousin’s thinking, and so he let me. But his arms were wrapped around my waist for support. As I saw the elevator going up to the Penthouse, the pounding in my chest was just as strong. Is he here? Is he waiting for me? What will he say? What will he do? Will he believe me? When the elevator door stopped on our Penthouse, and the entrance is requesting for our code. I stopped. How can I look him in the eye and tell him what happened to me? “It’s okay, everything will be okay.” Die assures me, I smiled to him and punch the Penthouse security code. The door dings. And as soon as we entered, the very drunk Blaze showed up at the bar island looking at me, at the door, and at Die with a scotch glass on his hand. The house is dark, I can’t even see him, and his expression. “Where have you been?” he starts. I tried to open my mouth for words to come out, but that didn’t happen. I am shaking nonstop with tears on my eyes. “Blaze we need to talk.” Diesel talked to him. “I am not talking to you, I am talking to her.” His tone is full of venom. “Do you enjoy Noah Kavinsky’s company?” he pours himself another scotch. Hearing the name makes me shiver even more. “Blaze, we really need to talk—” "--what? have you lost your tongue and can't speak?" he snaps. “Noah Kavinsky f*****g r***d her!” Diesel snapped to that made my body froze and tremble at the same time. “What?” “He r***d her.” Die sighed. Blaze scoffed that made my head snaps into his direction. He finds this amusing? “You expect me to believe that?” “Why wouldn’t you?” Die asked. “Your wife just got abused and you’re f*****g there chuckling like you didn’t lost your goddamn mind looking for her earlier.” “Everyone f*****g saw her getting inside that asshole’s car, and you’re here telling me that she didn’t like it?” he scoffed darkly. “I am not a f*****g fool, cous.” “That’s—that’s not true, I was on my way to the restroom down the hallway and he—” I sob, remembering what happened. “—he drugged me.” He stood up, walking towards me. for a moment I thought he was going to believe me “I want a f*****g divorce. I don’t want to see your face anymore.” He walks passed me and I tried to stopped him, he looks at my hand on his arms like I disgust him and look in my face “Please believe me, Blaze.” I plead while sobbing. He removed my hold on his arm “Don’t you ever f*****g touch me again.” Then he leaves.
