Song for this Chapter: Cruel Summer-Taylor Swift CHAPTER 45 CORINNE The rain is pouring heavy again when I went outside the school parking lot to go home. Home? I don’t know if that is the right word to describe the Mayhem’s Mansion. I wasn’t supposed to be there, they’re just helping me out. I still can’t decide if I should trust Havoc Mayhem with my life, but given that he’s the only shot I can have and not to bring me back home to Marcus, I had no other choice but to tell him half the truth. I told him about the abuse, about the night that Marcus nearly killed me about me not really a Lewis after all. What I didn’t tell him is about Diesel’s participation in all that. They will kill him or skinned him alive. I pleaded Havoc to turn a blind eye from what he figured out about me and the Lewis. I told him that he can use that information in the future when he needs to. You see, living for five years with the conniving politician like Marcus, you can learn how to negotiate even in bigger people in the society. And what I offered Havoc is something he can’t say no to, he can use the information when he needs to take down his former ally if he didn’t need it anymore. Living in some rainy part of America is good. I couldn’t complain, because only god knows how I love rainy days. I opened my umbrella and started walking to the bus stop near the school. I don't want to go with Diesel and have another conversation that we started this morning. I don't want to see Hannah as of now either. I'm only human, angry and annoyed. If I say that I wasn't annoyed and angry with Hannah's behavior towards me earlier, I'm making a fool of myself. Because I am mad at her, to judge me if she doesn’t do what I do. At least for me, somehow, I still thought about her and her feelings, but her? I don't think she feels guilty about Gian, there's no reason for her to feel guilty because Blaze is really innocent, but Hannah doesn't know anything that I know. In her mind, blaze is guilty for killing her own cousin. But apparently, she didn’t mind that at all. I am not standing on the bus stop when I opened my purse. I don’t have any sufficient funds anymore and that is why I decide to take a stroll on the city’s busy streets of New York to find a part time job for someone whose unexperienced as me, maybe luck will be on my side. I was the only one in the stop when I see a very familiar car stop in front of me. he rolls down his car window only to find him looking at me. “Where are you going?” “Should I really answer that?” I told him. “Whether you like it or night, you are under the Mayhem’s wing as of the moment. And I don’t want your father released some madness because something happened to you under our protection, right?” He pressed. He’s right. He just knew that maybe Marcus and I had some normal quarrel between father and daughter that led me out of the house, he didn’t know the bigger picture. I didn’t answer him when he talks again. “Alright, I guess I just have to ask your father and drove him on our house this instant.” He attempted to drives off. “No!” I shout even loud than I intend to. His brow went up and looked at me in awe. I sigh “For someone who didn’t want to marry me, you sure are persistent and annoying.” He scoffed “I didn’t want to marry you now but three weeks ago—” He looks at me with dead eyes. “—I can marry you that instant.” What he said made me froze and made something inside me stir. Does this mean he really like me three weeks ago? I didn’t answer him again, then he talks once again. He seems to be in a talkative mood tonight “I hear what Hannah did to you this morning.” “Yeah—” I shrug and holds my cheeks that Hannah slapped “—it’s one real hard slap.” “Sorry?” He offers. “Doesn’t mean I didn’t deserve it.” I chuckles “—because I do for asking her boyfriend to marry me, that’s a b***h move.” He scoffed and look ahead of his car, I am still standing on the stop. “I guess so.” Then another silence. “So—” He sighs “—are you going to tell me where you’re off to?” I nod “I was thinking maybe I should get a part time job near campus, you know.” “So, you running away from home is serious, huh?” I shake my head “Believe me, it wasn’t that serious. Just wanted to have some experience.” He nods “I have someone I know that’s running a bakery near here in campus, just two blocks away from here. Maybe I can ask her if she’s in need of people in her store.” Luck. Another help from him. But I need this. “You sure?” “Why wouldn’t I be? Just make sure you wouldn’t burn the place down, she will have my head for it.” I laugh “Psycho.” “Hop in, I’ll drive you there.” I hop inside his passenger side of his car and he starts to drove off. After five minutes he stopped in front of a vintage but can you imagine a country style buffalo home in the middle of the city with lots of flowers, different flowers on the outside? This is what it looks like. It looks like the house of the old lady from the Hansel and Gretel’s. “We’re here.” He said while removing his belt. “I can’t believe something like this place exist in here.” “It is, though. Come on.” He hops off of his car and I did the same. He walks inside first and I just followed. As soon as we entered inside, I immediately noticed the cozy interior of the bakery inside, and the fragrant aroma of breads and coffee mixed together. I love it in here already. “Matthew?” An elderly woman in her seventies, I think went on to greet Blaze with a cookie in a tray on her hands. “GranGran.” Blaze walks towards her and kissed her on her cheeks tenderly, the way he treated Anne. Soft and tender. “Are you here to eat again?” The old lady asks him with excitement on her voice. And she looks at me, with a smile on her face and I did the same “Good evening, madam.” I greeted her. “Nah—” Blaze looks at me. “Actually, I came here because this girl is looking for a part time job, and I hope you have a vacant spot for her.” He sighs “—and Corinne, this my Grandmother, my mother’s side, Penelope. Gran, this is Corinne, she’s—” Madam Penelope chuckle “Oh, I know who she is.” With a giggle. She knows me? “What?” Blaze asked her. “She’s your fiancé, isn’t she? Your Father came by and told me that he’s going to marry you off with some good girl in this place.” I chuckle awkwardly. “Is it, though?” Blaze sighs “Whatever. So, do you have a vacant for her?” "And why would a child of the country's senator enter a part time job knowing you, I know you were raised in luxury and comfort?" Her question was without a hint of judgment, maybe she was just wondering why I needed a part time job. “I—um—” I took a deep breath “I just wanted to have some money of my own without my father’s help.” Her smile grew bigger “I guess you are really a good girl just like Harold says.” “Harold is my Dad.” Blaze chimed in and I nod. “And you—” she hit Blaze on his arms that I know he wasn’t that affected by the small impact she made. “—why would you let your fiancé to get a work?” “She told me she wants to. Who am I to stop her from doing so?” “Her fiancé apparently. Your father is beyond that, Matthew. He’s a man of dignity and love for your Mother.” He scoffed “Look where his love takes Mom—” “Matthew, you know it wasn’t his fault—” Madam Penelope was about to hold his face but he nudge it. “So, Gran. You have a position for her?” She sighs and looks at me with once again a genuine smile on her face “Yeah. I have. if she was the only one who can take you here, she’s welcome anytime.” “Oh, thank you!” I squeal and hugs her and she giggles giving back the warm hug I just gave her. When I regain my composure, I look at to see Blaze already looking at me. “I think this is a bad idea.” Madam Penelope and I laugh at what he says. “You can start tomorrow by this time, alright?” I nod “Thank you so much, I’ll do my very best, Madam.” “Just call me Gran.” “Granny?” Blaze snaps, as if calling his Grandmother, the way he nicknamed her is absurd. I smiled at him snidely “Sure do, Gran.” He sighs and massage his temple. He drives me home again, and we stopped in front of the Mansion’s gate. “So, there’s still an ongoing engagement going on up until now?” I pressed. He sighs “Yeah, I still can’t tell Father that I wanted to marry Hannah instead of you.” Ouch. That hurts. But, why would I be hurt? “You need to.” “I know, just buying some time.” He said and I nod. He starts to drive inside the mason. “I am not Anne’s daughter.” I didn’t know why I tell him that. Maybe because of the vulnerability he showed me earlier with his Grandmother. “I know.” “What?” I don’t know if I heard him right. “I know that you are not Anne’s biological daughter.” “How?” “I remembered that she told me that the first time she lets you stay with us during her work before. She told me that you’re her sister’s daughter who passed away since you were born.” He said all those words coldly. Not even holding back. “Why didn’t you tell me?” “Because it wasn’t my story to tell, Corinne.” He has a point. I don’t know why my tears won’t stop falling so I just nod and tried to mask it with a smile. “Yeah, sure.” “I wanted to f**k you here.” “What?” “You heard me.” he said. I look around we are surrounded by pine trees, but we are inside the Mayhem’s mansion. And I didn’t know this place before. I didn’t need to be told twice, God knows how great of a distraction blaze is when it comes to me. I removed my seatbelt and sat in the driver's seat with him. He immediately adjusted the seat to make some space for me. He kissed me savagely on my lips, down on my neck and he opened the button on my uniform. My short skirt is also up, ready for him. We didn’t even say another word as he put his round lips around my n*****s, we moan. Or should I say I moan his name sipping my n*****s while his hands is roaming all over my body, I can also feel how hard he is. In just one swoop, his hard d**k was inside of me, until we’re both panting and moaning moving with each other’s beat fast and rough. Both of us didn’t even close our eyes, we both stare with each other’s eyes, drinking in the euphoric state we’re giving off each other. “f**k me, Blaze—” I plead. He smirks put his left hand on the base of my neck and my face giving himself the full view of my bouncing breast “Oh, yeah? Beg.” Then he starts to move painfully slow inside me. teasing me. I moan “f**k—” I closed my eyes. “Open your eyes.” He said, and I did. “Beg for it.” “f**k me, baby.” I whispered in his ear seductively, then in all his strength, he carried me and put me behind the car, making me on my hands and knees, then he pounced inside me hard and savagely. His left hands on my hair while the right is on my mouth, making me eat his fingers, and I did. f**k this is so intense that I can feel myself getting near. His groans and moans make me reached my end and he also did, inside me. I can feel the warm c*m inside my p***y dripping on my legs. He made me look at him, and he didn’t remove he’s still hard d**k inside me, with both us c*m dripping on us. He kissed me, then his phone rang. He looked at it, then looks at me again down on me dishevel clothes. And I already know who called him, then once again, I feel dirty and guilty. Yet he’s too distractive to avoid.
