Song for this Chapter:
When I Look at you-Miley Cyrus
CHAPTER 79
****TRIGGER WARNING!!!****
CORINNE
You must all be wondering what happen after that?
After I walked inside that secluded hallway, trying my best to stay away from Blaze and his phone call, away from everyone who knows us that looks at me pity in their eyes. Away from pain. But I didn’t even know if that was all worth it, as to what happen to me next is beyond painful. Beyond every word can say.
Maybe if there is one person who catches all the bad luck in this world, it's me.
I attract bad lucks, I attract bad men. And I don’t even have the slightest idea who is the wolf hiding on a sheen clothes. I am blind, maybe literally. Given by my poor judgments in life.
I must be blubbering lots of useless words right now.
So, back to the question. What happen to me next?
The answer is I don’t even have an idea what happen to me.
My vision was all hazy as I feel myself being transported to an unfamiliar car to something that floating, maybe I am at the water. I heard names that I don’t even heard before. But one name stood up in all. Noah.
The captain of the Riverdale High, who gave me a sweet smile and an attractive look. The one I kissed on that miserable after party that ended up in chaos.
Is he here to get his revenge on me or my husband for beating the s**t out of him?
I can’t say that I didn’t deserve this, because I do. I put him in a situation no one wanted to be in.
I knew they drug me. because I wanted to move or speak but I just can’t. it’s like my limbs were all jelly that I can’t even hold them to stop them from undoing my clothes.
Yes, I feel it. I feel all they’re hands all around my body that I am sure will leave a mark. Every touch made me shiver, every laughter from them is a silent wail for me.
And I can’t even do anything to protect myself.
And they started.
I don’t want to get into gore details of what they did to me. they are not like human beings. They are monsters.
I have been screaming Blaze’s name through my mind nonchalantly hoping that he would hear me, that he will hear my pleas, that he will come to save me.
I don’t know how long my misery lasted. But it wasn’t fast. It was painfully slow. It feels like years of torment.
Then it all went blank again.
That is when I woke up. I heard the waves crashing and for some time I thought I was just having a very bad nightmare.
But the shiver and cold that radiates on my skin, tells me that I am not dreaming.
That what happened is real.
I slowly open my eyes to see that I am in the sea shore. In the dark, all alone. My hands were shaking along with all my other limbs that having to sit down is very hard for me.
That is when I saw that I am completely naked, and my dress aren’t nowhere to be found.
I saw all the cigarette marks on my skin, the bruises the scratch, the marks. Everything is written all over my pale skin.
They treated me like an animal. Without mercy.
I break down as I can’t look at my own self. Because who wouldn’t? I cried and cried until I feel numb. That is when I saw my phone from the rocks and crawl my way to it.
It was off, and I opened it hoping that it got some power left. And it did.
I tried calling Blaze several times, but he didn’t answer his phone. He must be at the party having a good time. Did he even look for me? did he even noticed that I am missing?
Then when I figured out that he wouldn’t pick up his phone for me, I dialed the only one who’s so willing to save me since day one.
And he didn’t fail me, in just one ring. He answered.
“The f**k, Corinne. Where the f**k is you?!” He starts.
His concerned tone makes me want to pour my heart out because I know he cares “He—Help me, Die.” I sob.
“Corinne? What happened?”
“Help me, Die.”
“I am coming to get you. Where are you?”
I look around. I don’t even know where I am. “I don’t know, Die. I don’t know.”
He sighs and I know he is panicking. He knew something bad happened. “Open your GPS. I will track you, okay?”
I nod, even though I know he couldn’t see me, and I did what he told me “I already did it.” I am shivering in cold and in the pain from all over my body.
I feel sore on my intimate part, like it was ripped apart.
“Got ya. I am on my way. It’s just a twenty minutes’ drive. I want you to wait for me, okay? I will come and get you.”
I sob “I know, Die. I know.”
What am I supposed to do when he leaves for New York? Who I can run to?
After some time, I saw him running towards me. and he stopped mid-running when he sees that state I am at.
Tears were already forming in his eyes. He’s broken. He’s in pain by just looking at me.
And when he saw the grave look on my face, he tried his best to be the Diesel I know. Brave and strong. He does that for the both of us.
He walks towards me while removing his white shirt and kneel in front of me to make me wear his shirt that I know was too big for me. but I can’t complain.
I can feel his hands shaking as he cupped my cheeks and check all over my body. Even his lips are quivering.
“Who did this to you?”
I don’t have to say what happened to me, it’s like he knew it already.
I hug him on his neck tightly and sob as he hugs me more tightly. “Tell me who f*****g did this to you, C.” His tone breaks.
Now, I am guilty for putting my best friend in this situation with me again.
Then I decide not to get him involve any further, that’s why I chose to lie. “I don’t know.”
“Don’t lie to me, C. Blaze had been looking for you and some students says that you get inside Noah Kavinsky’s car.”
I shake my head “No, no. I didn’t get in his car.”
“Then he forced you.”
I bow and sob “I want to go home, Die. It’s so painful everywhere.”
He nods “Yeah, I’ll get you home.” He didn’t make me stand and walk on my own instead he carries me all the way to his car, and let me have a peaceful time fighting my own self once again.
I told you, right?
Maybe this is the beginning of my end.
