Mated with the wrong wolf

Chapter five.

We pulled up to the most beautiful mansion I had ever seen, it was built with marble and it had beautiful white walls on the outside, it looked so new! I was lost in Awe, before my Aunt smacked me on the back of the head and showed me the way in. "Come on " she said as I trailed behind her, awaiting my doom.

"Right, tell me the rules so I know you have listened to me." She said coldly, sending shivers up my spine.

" I Wake up every morning: cook breakfast, go to school, come back no later than three, make dinner, clean, make supper and clean?" I ask uneasily. "Very good" she responded. "Although, you forgot one teeny tiny detail.. Do not bother my staff!!"

"Oh, I'm sorry mother, I understand" I told her, Shaking quite obviously, she won and she knew it. I was terrified of her and with good reason.

"Follow me" She demanded and follow her I did.

We walked up 2, 3, 4.! Four flights of stairs and walked into a room at the far end of the hallway, it was a good distance, in the room there was a cupboard, and she points me in the direction of the cupboard, I go to it and I am amazed to see stairs?... I walk up the stairs and they lead me to what I'm assuming is my room. "Mother" walks up behind me, " This is to be your keep.

For you to stay here you must follow the rules and earn your keep, I will take no nonsense, or you will be punished, we have a basement and believe me, you will never want to be down there. Do I make myself clear?"

"O... Of.. Of course mother, I... I.. understand"

" You are not to leave this room until the morning, everything you need is here, the bathroom is through there, (She points to the door behind me) I have given you a good few thing out of my sheer generosity, do not take the piss out of me Camari, my wrath is quite dangerous" she hissed at me, and exited the room.

If I'm being honest I could be in a much worse situation, the room is quite lovely, it's very spacious, not at all cramped with junk, my Aunt may think she is punishing me but this is exactly my style. I need to get myself into her good graces though, I want to find out everything I can about this woman, and why if she is my real Aunt does she treat me this way...
