Chapter Quince.

I woke up, I reminded myself the night before to set my alarm for 7AM. I went downstairs breakfast was already made but I wasn't hungry and didn't eat. I quickly ran to the door and shouted bye to Laura and my mother before they could even reply.

I thought I may as well walk to school and wrap my head around the situation I left Levi in but Amber pulled up and beeped for me to get in.

[Amber: "Cam, what are you doing walking? A couple more minutes I'd be sat here waiting like an i***t. What has gotten into you?"

[Cam:"Actually, I can't wrap my head around yesterday... I can't believe I cried, like a wuss..."

[Amber: "Oh my, shut up. Everybody cries, and bare in mind, you haven't actually told me why yet... What happened? " she questions.

[Cam: " Well, Levi and I sort of had a fight and well he got physical, twice.

Now he didn't hit me but we weren't exactly nice to each other. I don't know what it is but no matter how hard I try I just can't like him. Not even a little, he's such a prick...' Oh, I'm Levi and I'm gunna be Alpha one day, Hardy har har, f**k you, f**k her and f**k everybody, I will kill you and him and her and her'. He's just such a prick "

[Amber:" Nice impression, not childish at all. Did he really say all that? And why? "

[Cam:" I may have provoked him but that's not the point"

I explained to Amber in detail what had happened, I even had to show her my scars on my arm, and the scar of the missing chunk of flesh that still hadn't healed but it had only been about two weeks, maybe it is healing slower because I haven't transformed yet.

I couldn't tell anybody here that I live with my Aunt... That she isn't my mother. So I told the perfect lie. My mother let me go out with some friends and we got in a car crash and that's why she is so protective. I don't know what kind of trouble I will get into if anyone found out she wasn't my real mum but my Aunty. So that secret stays with me.

We get to school and meet Jason, we walk to form and have about 15 minutes of catching up. I told Jay what happened between Levi and I and he was furious.

With both of us.

[Jason: " Cam, why provoke him even more when you're trying to fix the first time you provoked him? Do you want him to kill you? You're my friend and all but I've just met you... I've known him my whole life and well, I couldn't take him even if I wanted to, and you're the one playing with fire."

[Cam:" I'm not doing it on purpose, we just clash. I tried to apologise and he cut me off instantly and was laughing at something I'm very insecure about. He's just not someone I could spend a lot of time with... I tried I Really did, but its like we are meant to hate each other... Forced to be enemies... That can happen, no? Mates happen... Why can't enemies?"

[Amber:" I suppose that's true, I've never heard of it but that could happen, someone you love most in the world and someone you hate most in the world... It makes sense, farfetched but it does make sense

[ Jason: "Well great, how am I supposed to be in a room with my best friend and my mates best friend when they'll try to kill each other? No, no scratch that, when he kills you?"

[Cam: "He is going to kill me isn't he... I really don't stand a chance...

Should I?... You know? Apologise... Again?"

[Jason:"No"

[Amber:"No"

[Cam: Well, I guess I'll have to pretend to forget about the whole thing, just be polite and civil when we are with him?"

[Amber:" Don't forget, we are going to Jason's tonight after School. Levi is coming with us. You don't have to come, but maybe you'll get along with us two being there? "

[Cam:" No, don't worry. I will just ignore him, pretend like it didn't happen. He probably won't speak to me anyway so no harm don't worry. "

They nod their head in agreement.

Our classes flew by today, before I knew it we were walking to Amber's car, only waiting on Levi to make an appearance and suddenly he did.

[ Levi:" Oh, hey if it isn't my good friends and Cam wierd name"

He gave me a not so gentle punch on my left arm. d**k move in my opinion, he knows full well its my sore arm but I ignore it.

[Cam: " Hi"

Levi scoffs and ignores me. We jump into Amber's car and set off to Jason's House. The tension in the car barely bearable.

We arrive and everyone rushes to get out of the car, trying to get rid of the tension between Levi and myself.

Jason takes us to his back garden through the beautiful conservatory. He has a beautiful garden full of rose bushes and plenty of benches for us all to sit down at.

[Levi: " Hey, Cam. Isn't this the place where you first called me. Oh wait what was it... A dickhead?"

I laughed, proud of myself actually. It was a perfect statement.

[Cam: " Actually yes it is and wasn't I rather accurate."

He glares at me unpleased, but I didn't care. If he was going to give it he should learn how to take it.

We sat round the wooden round table, there were cushions for us to sit on for even more comfort and a nice table clothe drooping down. Jason came out with four glasses of lemonade and ice. It was a lovely day, the beginning of summer always had lovely weather. I loved the feeling of the hot sun on my skin.

[Amber: " Hey, why don't you boys show us your wolves? We haven't transformed yet, I'd love to see what they look like?"

[Levi: " What? You haven't showed Amber your wolf yet Jase?"

[Jason:" Well actually, I was going to do it today, just not now. But I can if you want Amber? "

[Amber: " Well, of course I want to see it... I wouldn't have asked otherwise silly"

[Levi: "Well, be prepared, our wolves are incredible... Not to brag but my wolf is very strong and fast."

[Cam:" So it should be Mr Alpha"

Levi did not appreciate my tone or comment, but grinned in my direction.

[Jason: "Ready?" he asked glaring at Levi with large smirk on both of their faces.

[ Levi: "Ready" Levi replied, proud of himself already.

Just like that, they started to undress until they were down to their underwear, both boys incredibly attractive. Stomachs raging with detailed six packs, biceps bulging containing too much muscle. Then *POOF* a fast transformation with a bit of a sprint and a few cracking noises here and there were these two large wolves right in front of us. Amber jumped up in glee, approving of Jason's big brown wolf Jack, with little ginger streaks, huge black paws and a white patch on his nose and forehead.

Levi's wolf was huge too, much bigger. A lot more intimidating. He was black all over even his eyes. There wasn't a light colour on him. He was incredible, he looked so silky and soft. I wanted to touch him, but he would have probably bitten my hand off. Literally.

I stared in awe at both wolves. Amber was sat on top of Jason, hugging him and talking to him.

As I was looking at Amber and Jason/Jack, I couldn't help but feel a slight hint of jealousy, Amber was so lucky to find her mate.

Just then, I was yet again tackled to the ground by Levi. His sharp fangs hovering over my face, drool hanging from his bottom lip.

I tried to move but he growled at every movement, his hot breathe against my face.

Jason walked over to us, he nudged Levi with his nose and Levi jumped off of me.

[Cam: " Okay, why this time? What did I do, I was simply admiring both of you. Why must you keep getting physically with me. f**k you." I screamed at Levi, I couldn't tell what his reaction was and I didn't care enough to see it.

[Cam: "Amber, I'm going. I'll catch you when you aren't around this dickhead"

[Amber: "Cam, wait. Levi was just joking, you dont have to leave."

[Cam:"No, I do. He was your friend first and we clearly don't get along. I'm going to get out of the way. I can't stand to be around him and I am not going to tolerate his sly abuse. f**k him. Amber, Jason, no disrespect in anyway to you both but I am going to leave. Text me".

With that, I set off. I didn't want to stay around for anymore of his bullshit. Who the f**k does he think he is? I'm not just going to be bullied by my friend's friend because we disagree on a topic. How childish can someone be? f*****g i***t.

[Levi:" CAM!!! CAM!! Wait up, will you?"

[Cam:" Oh, for fucksake what do you want now? I am leaving aren't I? What else do you want me to do? How about YOU leave ME alone this time? I tried okay, I tried to apologise, I tried to be nice and I even tried to ignore you and not provoke you anymore. Just leave me alone. I am not here to argue, can you just let it go? "

[Levi:" You forgot this bag"

As embarrassed as I was I stuck by what I said, I snatched my school bag from him and turned to walk away. I felt my cheeks blush and burn ever so slightly.

[Cam: " Well, thank you. Now leave me alone..."

[Levi: "With pleasure, you absolute loon"

[Cam:" Really? You're going to call me a loon? Like what I just said wasn't true?"

[Levi: "You are the moodiest girl I've ever met. Why do you have to whine all the time, blah blah blah. That's all that comes out your f*****g mouth"

[Cam:" I'm not going to argue with you, just let me go home"

[Levi:" Go then! No one's stopping you"

I walk off feeling nervous. I didn't know why exactly, but the amount of times he's tackled me, it wouldn't surprise me if he did it again.

I look back, to check if he had left and he hadn't he was just watching me walk away.

Why is this guy such a f*****g weirdo?

I walk and walk until he's out of sight, even when he was I carried on walking fast, still looking over my shoulder.

Just as I go to turn a corner there he was in my face.

[Levi: " I know you want me to leave you alone, but can I walk you home and we can talk?"

[Cam:" How did you beat me here?"

[ Levi:" Well, you went the long way around... But anyways is that a yes?"

[Cam: "Well, I suppose you can if I get home quicker. Let me go first though?"

[Levi: "Okay"

[Cam: "I don't like you. I have tried to but I don't. Sorry. I know you want me to stay out of your business and for some reason I can't. I want to but I can't. It just annoys me when people are wrong"

[Levi: " Right well, I like your honesty. Honestly though, I don't care. I don't like you, but Jason's my friend and Amber's his mate. So I'll try not to make it awkward, for them not you. I said I'd try and sort this out but Goddess you're so annoying. Why can't you even try to understand my side of things?"

[Cam:" You know what? That's fair. Go on tell me your side, but then you have to let me give my opinion? "

[ Levi:" Well, I won't listen so I suppose you can."

I roll my eyes and he clearly saw but continued to tell his story.

[ Levi: " I was about nine... I caught my mum in bed with one of my dad's advisors. I remember walking in. My mum got up in a panic and put her robe on. She walked me outside and told me she was doing some business to save my dad's life... Well, I was nine so I believed her, she made me promise to never tell my father what had happened. She said if I told him it could cost him his life and his kids...

A few years later I caught her again in bed with the same guy... I was fifteen at this point and I just knew she was full of s**t. She tried to convince me of the same bullshit story from when I was younger. I had already shifted into my wolf... Having Alpha blood, we tend to shift a few years earlier that the average werewolf. Anyway, I heard him and her, giggling, laughing at my father. My father who treated her like a queen, Built cities for her... Moved mountains, moved heavens! You name it he would have done it. He was smitten for her and she played him like a fool.

I spoke to my dad later that day. I asked how he felt about my mum... How he knew she was the one.

He went into great detail, they met when they were pups. They loved each other from the minute they met. They've known each other their whole lives and when my dad was fifteen, he shifted and waited to find his mate. Then my mum Shifted a few months later and they've been together ever since. My dad told me that story with sparkles in his eyes. He was so proud. He fell in love with his best friend. Nothing in this world is purer. No love is more pure than that. My mother destroyed whatever kind of love my dad had for her. She broke him. I don't recognize the man he is today. Not a spec of the man I knew then is in him now. I told my dad. I watched him change. He had no choice, he had her executed along with Tom- My dad's most trusted advisor. Such betrayal killed the man I knew. When my mum died so did the father I knew. He's just an empty shell of his former self.

That's why, as soon as I find my mate I'm rejecting her. I'll be a ruthless leader. No mate in my way to ruin me. No one. I don't want to end up like my dad. A sore, broken man. All I can ask is that you respect MY decision. It has nothing to do with you Cam. I'm sorry but, it's just what I'm going to have to do."

[Cam:" Levi, I'm so sorry to hear that. That's so tragic. I hope this isn't out of line but your mother was disgusting, what kind of person would do that? She's sick. Sick sick sick"

[Levi: " I couldn't care less what you said Cam, its all true. Can you just stop mentioning it now? Please?"

[Cam": Yeah, I'm sorry its not my place"

We hugged it out and arrived at the gates to my house.

[Levi: "Nice place, didn't think you would live here. "

[Cam: " What do you even mean?"

[Levi: " Well, you seem poor. Are you a servant?"

[Cam: " What? I seem poor? I SEEM poor? How can someone seem poor? What are you on about? "

[Levi:" No, well yeah. You just seem like the type of person to be poor. No offence."

[Cam:" Oh there's lots of offence Levi, why? Why ruin it? We were beginning to be friends weren't we?"

[ Levi:" Chill, chill. We are friends. Friends are truthful. I was just saying you have a nice house"

[Cam:" No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. You said I was poor and too poor to live here so I must obviously be a servant, a waiting girl, A cleaner or a cheff... What's the matter with you?"

It really upset me that he knew what I was even with looking at the place where I lived. He instantly knew it was too good for me. He hammered the nail bang on the head. What I said next was probably out of line but being so angry in that moment it had to be said.

[Cam: "You know from that story you told me, you're more like your mother than your father. "

*SLAP*

[Levi:" You don't talk to me about my mother. You keep my parents and I out of your mouth. You know NOTHING"

He slapped me. He f*****g hit me. I grabbed my cheek and looked at him.

[Cam:" Maybe that was called for. Maybe not. The fact that you hit me, you actually hit me tells me you're just a f*****g pussy."

I booted his shin and ran into my house. I looked back to see if he was chasing me but he wasn't. Probably not wanting to find out who was on the other side.

I walked in and greeted my mum and Laura. We talked about my early run out this morning. I tried to hurry the conversation as I wanted to talk to Amber. It was only around 6pm, I walked upstairs and rang Amber ranting about what just happened.
