THE REASON FOR TEMPTATION

The reason for temptation is simply mixed feelings birthed from the desire to have what you don't have. These mixed feelings could leave one wandering in deserted good thoughts which could lead into the valley of the shadow of death and that is why it is very important to put all your trust in God, by not leaning on your understanding where the devil could infect your reasoning to reason and the moment you start reasoning, reasons stay alive and it is only when reason dies that faith will spring and without faith, it is impossible to please God.

Were Adam and Eve not naked and were not ashamed before they took and ate of the fruit of the tree that God commanded them not to (Genesis 2: 25)? Then, what now happened that nakedness now became a problem to Adam and Eve; just the way truth is now becoming an offence to us who are supposed to be the ambassador of truth?

Why is there so much gross lawlessness in our churches today? There is lawlessness in our churches today because the truth we now hate and the lies are what we are now loving and as a result, the love of many are waxing cold because the orb of life is missing in our lives. Life must orbit around love and rotate around truth and driven by faith without which we cannot please God and this will activate the nature of God in us and without this, we cannot see what God is seeing and it is in what we are ordained to see as God is seeing that we can walk the right path that will lead us to true rest. Jesus is the orb of our lives, why are taking him out of our life's equation?

From my personal experiences, I have discovered that nothing makes meaning like your relationship with God through Jesus Christ and I tell you the truth, your marriage will be like hell if your relationship with Jesus Christ is sick. Sometimes we deceive ourselves by saying all is well, even when we are going through hell, this is not a positive confession at all. The majority of us have a relationship with Jesus Christ that is sick because we get easily distracted with things that do not matter to God.

Your knowledge of God's love is very paramount to the direction of the flow of your life. You cannot love God and also lusts after the world, but the devil will cunningly and subtly introduce something that will eventually drift your attention and take you far from the knowledge of God if your understanding is what you are leaning on and this is where most Christians are missing it. If the standard of our identity is God's image His likeness, can you see the missing orb when the claim you are hinging on is LIKE GOD as suggested to Eve by the subtle twister in Genesis 3; 5? And I want you to know that woman is the symbolic picture of the church, which is giving birth to the children of God.

You may want to ask, "What do you mean by orb?

Orb is simply defined as any of the concentric spheres in old astronomy surrounding the earth and carrying the celestial bodies in their revolution or a sphere surmounted by a cross that symbolizes kingly power and justice.

This implies if good power and justice are missing from life, evil power and injustice will seem to be on the rule and all this is because the man left where he was supposed to be with God. This has nothing to do with religious belief but has everything to do with reality and the reality here is the very truth of God's Word which is a perfect gift of love. The missing orb of life is the essence of our soul giving us a glimpse into the afterlife and that is why the Bible have it that, "Even death cannot separate us from the love of God" (Romans 8: 35 – 39).

The present suffering, we are experiencing cannot be compared to the glory that will be revealed in us. The glory is not just to be revealed through us, since the spirit of God is fully dwelling in us, it will be revealed in us. There is glorious liberty that will hit the earth like a tsunami and this can only be by the spirit of God through His sons and this is what will bring about the true liberation from the bondage of corruption of this evil world. We have been redeemed but we must work out our salvation with fear and with trembling and even as we have this hope in us, we must also purify ourselves daily, just as He is pure. The spirit of God is the only helper of our weaknesses.

It is in the love of God that we can fully understand the mystery of His will and this is a purpose for Himself (Ephesians 1: 9) and it is this reality that all will be gathered into one and that one is Christ. All things that happen in our lives is according to the counsel of God's will, because He said, "In all things give God thanks for that is His will (Ephesians 1: 11) concerning your life through Christ Jesus" (2 Thessalonians 5: 18) and it is for His glory (Ephesians 1: 12).

Some things are elementary principles of Christ and it will interest you to know that some of the laws we practice and are now protecting like a newborn baby in our churches are elementary principles and this will never allow us to go on to perfection and this does not mean, we are to start laying again another foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God (Hebrews 6:1), it simply means we should grow to maturity to the fullness and stature of Christ so that His image will be fully revealed in us and through us who are in His likeness.

We need to know what God infallible purpose is and this has a seal of God swearing by Himself since there is no greater name in heaven and on earth. Since the promise was made to Abraham and we are the fruit of Abraham's seed, surely blessings shall be upon us, but we must endure the trying time. We have a hope as an anchor and you can only hold to the anchor when you have correctly answered the question "Where are you?" this means, if you find the way, you will find the anchor and it is the anchor that will keep in expectation of the promises of God which is yea and amen and this promise is to bring you into the Father's rest.

The orb is the evidence of the manifestation of Divine Energy of God (DEG) called glory to illuminate our understanding to the deeper things of the spirit of God, and until you have first understood God's unfailing love for your soul, getting to know that you love Him because He first loves you (1 John 4: 19), you will end up thinking you can do the course of God without God and this is the mindset that is driving most Christians in our time because they have already adopted the mindset that they are like God. There are things so deep, deeper than what our thought could grasp and such things are deeply spiritual things we cannot see with our naked eyes, but through the eyes of God (faith) with a mind that is renewed in Christ Jesus.

What are you seeing?

Eve could no longer see the orb of life, what she saw now was the forbs and after her desire to have it, she was been deceived to get it and because she got it in lust, it became forbidden and this led to the fall of man. Sometimes, our delight may be far off what God wants for this and this is the major reason why we most fail to temptations. When your eye is open to the things which the Lord has not commanded, this will lead you to a form of wisdom which will not be of God because your eyes will be opened to the world, and we will now start calling it, civilization, but where is this civilization taking us to? This can only happen when the eye of the heart is stolen and the eye of the heart in this context is the mind which has the current of God's life, but when it is stolen based on our misplaced knowledge of who we are in God, the light of our mind will be turned off, such that, we can no longer see what God wants us to see, but will start seeing what God does not want us to see. Our willpower is simply our mind and in reality, there are three eyes and when the three eyes are activated, you can see as God sees, but when they are shut down, you can never see as God sees and this implies, your thought has been captured and as you think as inspired by the deceiver, so you are. The three eyes are contained in your spirit, which has two eyes, and your mind, which has one eye. The reason why we do some things we wouldn't want to do are that our thought has been captured and as we think as inspired by the deceiver, so we will be. So it is not because of the devil we are what we are, it is because of our thought and God cannot do anything outside the content of our thoughts and our spoken thought is the material that the Holy Spirit uses to create reality. What was suggested by the deceiver (the devil) to Eve was, "Your eyes will be opened (worldly wisdom), you will be LIKE GOD (having a form of godliness denying the power thereof), knowing good and evil (defining what is right or wrong based on self-seeking knowledge)" and this implies, God's goodwill now become evil to you and what God has marked evil will now become your good, is this not what is happening in our time?
