THE TEMPTATION AND THE FALL
Adam’s desire made the man fall into a deep sleep (died to the spirit), because, if he had not desired anything, ASCAT would not have caused him to experience the deep sleep he experienced and that was why the statement “NOT GOOD” was brought forward to address an existing thought. The desire of man was what led to the condition of grace (IF) and this is what defines the IF condition as being born again connecting us to the statement, “If a man is in Christ...”
When man experienced the deep sleep caused by ASCAT, he could not wake up from that sleep even when Eve was tempted (Ephesians 5: 14).
