DON’T REDUCE THE ABILITY OF GOD BY FOCUSING YOUR ENERGY ON THE STORMS

When you focus your energy on the raging storm, you reduce God’s ability, because God cannot act when you are acting (Exodus 14: 13, 14). He just wants you to rest in peace, for this is where you can overcome and He is your peace that passes understanding and stream and fountain of joy from the Father’s love. If you don’t rest in peace in His love, you will be torn into pieces by the raging storm. Storms most time just tests to mature us into the fullness of our nature in Christ Jesus. Outside fear, storms cannot submerge you, because storms fear faith, but fear fears storms. Faith is a storm neutralizer, because faith submerges storm, suck it to calmness and wash it off in the water of God’s eternal living spring. Your thought inclined on the Word of God is bigger than the raging storm, so take off your attention from whatever is troubling you. You magnify it by giving attention to it. You don’t have a job, when your attention is just firmly focused on just the job, you will get frustrated, but when you focus your energy on worshipping and appreciating God, you will be amazed that the job you are seeking will come seeking you. In storms, you can only take cover in the LORD, because outside Him, there is no covering. Your faith does not translate to not feeling hurt or pains, sometimes anxiety and depression and most at times, the brokenness of heart, but in all these, if your heart is focused on God, you will know for sure that they all work for your good. So seek first God’s rest (His kingdom), and you will not even have an idea what anxiety and depression is.

Until you accept God’s faithfulness in your life, you can never be faithful and when you are not faithful, you will be fearful and when you are fearful, you will have your heart driven by all sorts of evil thoughts flooding your heart uncontrollably.

Taking off your attention from the storm brings you to focus on Revelation 22: 21 and you will know that we will always have His grace, and with His grace, what else do we need?

When the storm rages, where would be your base?

The base is simply your anchored ground, what you are holding unto in the raging storm that could either be fear of Satan or faith in God to carry you through and bring you out untouched. If you are running from the raging storm, you will be subdued. Stay where you are. Is Jos (Jesus’ Operating System) your base? Stay in Jos! Is He asking you to hide? He will tell you exactly where to hide and God cannot tell you to hide anywhere outside His love. Is He asking you to stay calm? Stay calm; He will surely direct you in wisdom when you reverence Him. If you pick your family and fly out abroad when it starts here, what will you do when you get there and it is fiercer there? Your money cannot secure you in the time we are in; it is only your faith that can.

Jeremiah 44: 28, 29

Yet a small number who escape the sword shall return from the land of Egypt to the land of Judah; and all the remnant of Judah, who have gone to the land of Egypt to dwell there, shall know whose words will stand, Mine or theirs. And this shall be a sign to you, says you may know that My words will surely stand against you for adversity.

Our faith in Christ Jesus is the only resistance to a raging storm, it is not just the resistance but also security from the current bullet released from the devil’s eyes called electronically, which will magnify and exaggerate everything, the news will carry more detail than the detail event that happens, such that people who are experiencing the storm will seem more secure than people who are not. By this I mean, media will so much magnify and exaggeratedly paint the picture of what happened beyond the normal, such that when you listen or watch the news if you are not strong-hearted, you may drop dead for the cause of heart attack, not be able to imagine the gravity of damages that is being projected in the news, and it is even much more terrible to watch the sight. Everything is going wild and the world is becoming more dangerous and catastrophic. Our faith in God is like a house built upon the rock; let’s see what Scripture have to say about this….

Matthew 7: 24- 26

“Therefore whoever hears these saying of Mine and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.

“But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand and the rain descend, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, and it fell. And great was its fall.

Your house could either be built on the sand or the rock. Jesus is the rock, while all other grounds are sinking sand. The implication of other grounds is fear, while that of the rock is FAITH. Satan controls other grounds, while Jesus controls just one ground and that ground is called THE GROUND OF TRUE FAITH IN GOD, built upon the foundation of truth, finished and roofed on the covering of grace.

When the bases of your faith are not TRUST in God, you will reason, and when you reason, you will definitely swim into the river of fear and eventually advance into the deep sea, that will launch you deeper into the ocean, where you have no power to decide your actions, but the devil, because he has succeeded brainwashing your mindset to possessing your thoughts.

Allow distresses and anxiety is allowing terror into your life, you recover from the devastating terrorist attack on your spirit and once the two eyes of your spirit are gone, you are doomed. So guide your heart against terrorists, and the greatest terrorist concerning accessing your eyes to access your spirit to get into your mind is electronic platforms. When you use electronic platforms, don’t allow the platform to use you.

You could be seen as not been trendy and civilized, but I tell you the truth, you are much more secured not been trendy and civilize in the time we are in because the direction civilization is going, is not a thing of thought at all.

Proverbs 1: 27

When your terror comes like a storm and your destruction comes like a whirlwind, when distress and anguish come upon you.

Your faith connects you to your shelter from the storm.

Isaiah 4: 6

And there will be a tabernacle for shade in the daytime from the heat, for a place of refuge, and a shelter from storm and rain.

Isaiah 25: 4

For You have been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shade from the heat, for the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall.

Isaiah 28: 2

Behold, the Lord has a mighty of hail and a destroying storm, like a flood of mighty waters overflowing, who will bring them down to the earth with His hand.

The reality of the raging storm has an origin and the origin is actually from Satan, who will use immensely the North.

Ezekiel 38: 9- 12, 14- 17

You will ascend, coming like a storm, covering the land like a cloud, you and all troops and many peoples with you.”

“Thus says the Lord GOD, “On that day it shall come to pass that thought will arise in your mind, and you will make an evil plan. You will say, I will go up against a land of unwalled villages, “I will go to a peaceful people, who dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates to takes plunder and to take booty, to stretch out our hand against the waste places that are again inhabited, and against a people gathered from the nations who acquired livestock and goods, who dwell amid the land.

“Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say to Gog, thus say the Lord GOD, “On that day when My people Israel dwell safely, will you not know it? Then you will come from your place out of the far north, you and many people with you, all of them riding on horses, a great company and a mighty army.

You will come up against My people Israel like a cloud, to cover the land. It will be in the latter days that I will bring you against My Land, so that the nations may know Me, when I am hallowed in you, O Gog, before their eyes. Thus says the Lord GOD, “Are you he whom I have spoken in former days by My servants the prophets of Israel, who prophesied for years in those days that I should bring you against them?
