NOT MY WILL

The reason why we fail and fall from God’s uplifting grace and we are still failing is that we are doing our own will instead of the will of Him that has called us to life. Do you know life is purposed call? If you know, then you have to change your orientation toward life and for you to do this; you must have to know the truth and live in accordance to the truth. If truth is the knowing, obeying the truth is the wisdom and I need you to know that knowledge puffs up and that is why, so many people who knows the truth, but are still lost in self-delusiveness and anything that ends in self, heads for destruction.

Do you know what your purpose is?

Purpose is the volume of books written concerning as divinely ordained, and our purpose in life is simply doing the will of God.

Whose will should it be if it is not my will or yours, or the will of any man? When you are able to answer this question, you will know that your purpose in life span beyond your control.

What you cannot control, leave it for the controller, else, you will end up hurting yourself and losing it.

You must not make attempt to stop whatever process you are going through, being it good or what seem bad to you, once you are walking in your purpose as ordained in accordance to God’s plan, it will certainly turn out for your good.

Hebrews 10: 9

Then He said, “Behold, I have come to do Your will, O God.” He takes away the first that He may establish the second.

What the fire of affliction does is to burn off every form of flesh on the platform of God’s goodness and as you are refined in the fire, you will come up as a spirit man that needs not fear anything. Therefore, the first is that which involves flesh, while the second is that which involves the spirit and God wants to live in the spirit, which defines our true character as sons of God. If our doings on earth is not in accordance as it is in heaven, it will not stand in your life. This is a clear picture of a purposed life and that is why you need to understand the purpose of God for your life. When you understand the purpose of God for your life, you will never be distracted with all that comes happening in your life, because there are only preparing you for greatness when the time is ripe, so don’t stop the process.

Matthew 6: 10

Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

When you are in the process of God refining you to purify your character, your prayers should always be, “O My Father in heaven, if this experience will not pass away from me, except I go through it, let your will be done” (Matthew 26: 42). Teach me to do your will of LORD my God, your Spirit is good, lead me through and keep me upright even as I go through this experience, for I know my latter will be greater than my past in Jesus name.”

You can never do the will of God if you do not delight to do it. If you delight yourself first in the Lord, He will grant you the desires of your heart (Psalm 37: 4) and the desire of your heart will be that He grant not the desires of the wicked and further not their wicked devices, lest they exalt themselves (Psalm 140: 8).

You can never do God’s will when all you want to do is to fulfill the desire of the flesh and of your mind that will all lead to destruction. The reason why it must not be my will is because, my will, will certainly lead to destruction and it is so pathetic that so many have been destroyed because of self-will.

Life is easier when we learn the principle of the Holy Spirit to always say, “Not my will, but let Your will be done” .This means, you are saying, ‘yes’ to God’s will. No matter the price and no matter what you will go through, you are resolute to go in the direction of God’s will for your life. The sweetness of doing the will of God often start first in dipping your hands into the live honeybees to fetch the sweet honey out of the pain, knowing for sure that the gain is worth enduring the pain. You will definitely receive many stings, but, as you cheerful endure, the sweetness alone will make you forget the pains of the stings, just like the joy of harvest after the hard labor.

Judges 14: 8, 9

After some time, when he returned to get her, he behold, a swarm of bees and honey were in the carcass of the lion. He took some of it in his hands and went along, eating. When he came to his father and mother, he gave some to them, and they also ate. But he did not tell them that he had taken the honey out of the carcass of lion.

Out of the eater came something to eat, and out of the strong come something sweet.

What is sweeter than honey and what is stronger than a lion?

The secret of God is with those He loves, the secret of any man is with the woman he loves, and it will interest you to know that if the devil will attack such man, he will go through his woman and tap into his secret to bring him down.

It has never ever been the wish of those whom God has called according to His purpose to walk in the path that they are called to walk in, but in their own way they would always want to walk and end up working instead of resting to do God’s will with the simple responsibility, trust and obey. God’s will would take us through from one process to the other and the processes would always come with the seal of fire, because those who are led by the Spirit of God must be fire branded, because they are plucked from fire.

A man that God has not plucked from fire as a brand is not yet mature to reveal the glory of God and when the LORD pluck you from the fire, you will become brand new and it will not be a thing of feeling, your life will become brand new.

Fire is what makes a believer in Christ brand new and the fire I mean here is simply trying experiences. Anything that is brand new is attractive to the eyes and desired by all. This implies as you are plucked from fire, you will attract all that God attract and your life can never ever remain the same again, I mean you will become a perpetual permanent victim of God’s blessings and through you, generations will be blessed.

When you do the will of God, you will take God’s counsel serious and heeding to His counsel will make you experience all of His goodness.

Revelation 3: 18

I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see.

Why does God make His ministers flame of fire if they are not fire branded (Hebrews 1: 7)? This is because He refines their character in Him through fire and makes them brand new to reveal His glory that will brighten the world with His love. The purpose of God allowing His own to go through situations that are very trying is because He wants to express His love through them, so He has to prune their character with fire in order to shed off that which is not of Him, because in God, there is no darkness at all (1 John 1: 5).

I have never wanted to function in the office God has not called me into; therefore, my service to God will rightly place me. I will not be the one to place myself, or lobby for positions of service to be recognized, but the light in me cannot hide, so I cannot hide myself from doing God’s services. I do not create programs for God, so I cannot decide whatever comes because some of the experiences will only come as distractions to take my focus.
